I am not without compassion. And, I regret that this thing has touched your life in this way.
However, if you can somehow see past the 'fear-factor' of your experience (which I suggest has been instigated against you unnecessarily), perhaps you may be able to understand a different perspective.
Let us consider the facts based on your statement that covid is real:
~ the virus was manufactured in a laboratory on/with purpose
~ the virus was unleashed upon the public on/with purpose
~ 'they' can do it again at will anywhere at any time they choose
If you want to be afraid of something - be afraid of that.
~ the virus is - at best - more contagious but less potent than any common flu virus
Should the vast majority of healthy folks be harrassed into totally unnecessary measures for the sake of those who are more vulnerable? Or, should the vulnerable folks take the necessary precautions for themselves?
Before anyone says something stupid like:
"Well - you just don't care about others..."
- consider the following...
When it comes to personal protection, who has the most responsibility for that?
If you have the flu, is it your view that the whole world should stop in its tracks and jump through hoops for you?
You will probably say:
"Of course not - the world should carry on while I separate myself from everyone else and get back to good health."
If that is the case, then why-in-the-whole-wide-world should anyone expect the whole world to stop in its tracks and jump through hoops just because they might possibly get the flu?
What is going on in the world today is totally ridiculous and unnecessary.
It is not about preserving health.
It is about control of the masses.
It is about the New World Order.
The virus may be real, but the "pandemic" is a hoax - plain and simple.
Not only do I care about those who might possibly become ill --- I also care about those who lose their job, lose their business, lose their home, lose their family, lose their sanity, commit suicide, etc.
If you look at the bigger picture, you discover that what is happening in the world today is nowhere even close to a good solution for "what ails us"...
Way too many people have yet to realize that "what ails us" is not at all what they have been told; rather, it is those who are telling it...
This whole 'episode' has absolutely nothing to do with keeping everyone healthy.
And, Christians everywhere need to wake up and recognize the truth with regard to the hand of Satan in the world today.
Some really good points in that. (There was one I disagreed with, but even there I could see why he thought that way.)
Another point is that if God took care of everything for us, we wouldn't learn anything. This is really a very critical point and not understanding it has led to people losing faith in God's love for us, so I'm going to go into detail on this one.
We can understand that there are bad things in this world because we broke it. God gave us a perfect world and we broke it with sin so it is no longer perfect, so now bad things happen sometimes, even to good people.
We can also understand that God has all power and authority, and God could sweep every bad thing away and play watchdog for all His people, keeping all negative things away from us. And God loves us, right? So if we do what God says, and if God loves us, any loving father would keep pain away from his children, right?
So why does God not do this? Does he not really love us after all?
Well, there is one reason a loving parent would let his child experience painful things - if it teaches the kid a lesson. And, unfortunately for the peace of mind of many people, this life is not our total existence... It's just boot camp. We are here to learn what it is like to live in a broken world.
See, if God stepped in and shielded us from every negative thing in life, we wouldn't know the full experience of what a broken world is like. But God does allow us to feel pain. When we get to Heaven, I don't think a single one of us there will have any desire to do things his own way. Nooooo way! We will know exactly what it is like to live in a world that has been broken, and we will not want to do anything that puts us back in that situation.
It's easy for a powerful parent to wipe out all a kid's mistakes and make everything right again. It takes a lot more love to let a child sometimes experience consequences.

Another good reason why we should trust God and His ways instead of allowing the 'fear factor' of man's ways "scare" us into doing things that will only be against us.
He designed us and knows better than anyone what works! We should listen to Him!
I am trusting in God where my life and health are concerned (as well as other things like a future wife).

Only He knows all (and I do not) and can "make the real difference where it counts" in this crazy world we live in - for life, health, and the other things as well...

I cannot do it without Him.
Yes - it is true.
However, in the bigger picture, it is even more simple.
While God is in complete control of every little detail that He wants to be, He has a 'plan' for His creation that "requires" that He allow parts of it to "take its own path" (for now).
And, because He is able to 'restore' [even] more than what was lost (Job being our example to remember), He will "make it all right in the end"...
It is not just about His children.
There are those on the wicked side who may "see the light" and come to Christ. Others will be judged and end up giving God a "different" kind of 'glory' forever.
It is all about Him and His glory.
We must try to understand that.
Y'all post this junk in the (otherwise fairly nice) Misc. forum, you bet I'm gonna comment. I ain't gonna let gloom'n'doom reign without at least making a comment. If I feel real energetic I might even bring some logical counter-arguments to brighten the place up a bit.
Now it's real odd you should phrase it that way, because that's exactly what I have decided about conspiracy theories. They are so popular because they make people feel better about the things they worry about. It's not really doing anything - more like gossip than concrete action - but it makes people feel like they are doing something constructive, which helps them not worry so much.

You hear many say "died from it" when the truth is "died with it", often the last stage id pneumonia but the cause is most anything else that put a person in a bed and in a weakened condition. For years we heard locally pneumonia was "the old mans friend" as it took us home so peacefully.
