yes , regarding pastors I agree . I have t been at the study part of faith long , used to just assume the person speaking at a pulpit knew Gods word . Over the last couple years getting into the scripture I began seeing a lot of things no one ever said , and a lot I was told that’s not In There.
this has really began to root mistrust in the worlds system of church . Even something as simple as the role of a pastor , I feel as if Were off track . The pastor every week preaches and everyone listens and just accepts it as truth
but biblically pastors were more as you are stating a leader and shepherd over the flock , thier lesder by example in humility , servitude , and faithfulness spiritual administration more or less and the speakers were to be two or three of those gifted with prophecy while the congregation weighed what was said

But yes he does relate it to today's circumstances, thought and contrasts against philosophies and ideologies.are you saying the expounding upon of scriptures has no application for today? Your Pastor provides no understanding of authorial intent?
