Unfortunately this is a true story. Someone who has this new strain of virus did not quarantine and spread the virus and now we have had many new cases. Everyone is panicking. Face masks sold out, toilet paper is low.

Yes...
Not a problem whatsoever.
They last a couple of days...might want to give them a few seconds in the microwave on the two day old.

They lasted a bit longer in my house because it's just me and my wife here and I'm trying to do some push backs and get ready to go back to work. (Gotten fat during the pandemic) so I'm currently cutting way back on what I eat so I can exercise when it warms up.

But I'd limit myself to two donuts and 4 holes each day.
My wife limited herself to four...and the recipe makes two dozen.

Around day four or so zapping them in the microwave wasn't effective...so I pitched them.
These look and sound good. Donuts with coconut custard cream

Well, definitely have enough people in my house to feed them to :)
um, do the y HAVE to be eaten right away, or will they be alright if they sit for a while
(like if I make them before everyones up will they be okay sitting for a while?)
Perhaps you should not make them too soon before everyone else gets up, or, by the time
they finally come to their senses and stumble out of bed, they will be all gobbled up (by you ;))

I remember when I was a kid I would ride my bike home from school and I had to pass an Italian deli. You know the kind that has the authentic Italian foods from cheese, to Italian cold meats, ricotta etc etc. Anyway they sold Italian donuts and they were the best. They were filled with cream in the middle and were topped with chocolate. Sounds very normal but these were special Italian ones and probably are the best to date that I have ever tried. They look similar to this.

There was one Brazilian deli/bakery here in Nashville that made the best cannoli...

I would love to have a great cannoli right now.

Oh, yes, we call them delis here also. But my mind jumps ahead and fills in non-existent blanks LOL

It happens a lot when people are speaking... they may pause, and I automatically
(in my mind at least) fill in the word I think they are looking for. I am often right LOL
