That's fine...enjoy your singleness you are still so young 😊 I had my first relationship when I was 32 if I can still remember it exactly lol

Side effects in the future? Like what? 🤔

Side effects of waiting until you're older to date may include:

Less emotional baggage when you do start dating
A better sense of who you are and what you want in life when you do start dating
Fewer regrets and surprises later in life
Having to explain to people that being in a bad relationship is worse than not having a relationship
Being less attractive to guys (or gals since it isn't clear from your post which you are) for whom date means one night stand.

There are probably other advantages (oops I mean side effects) as well. But it's past my bedtime.

I am over fifty and still can't understand what people mean when they say "dating". Is it like a betrothal or somethin? Is it like Carbon dating?

I am 53 and haven't died or spontaneously combusted yet.

I have many girlfriends right here on CC. Kireina is one of my favorite girlfriends, right @Kireina ? She is such a cute sweety-pie!:giggle:

there is a guy called Mark Gunger, who teaches why it is no bad thing to wait till you find the one you are going to marry. He does teach secular people as well as believers, I guess trying to be salt and light and prevent people fornicating etc. As well as showing scripture makes perfect sense. I highly recommend his teaching if you are wondering this. Not saying this guys doctrine is sound or anything, just his teaching on relationships etc is fine from what I can see... no idea about his other teaching. (He doesn't beat about the bush though so just be aware, some might find his to the point speech and use of humour a bit much.)

It is far easier to ask us all what are the side effects of relationships that don't lead to marriage or don't wait for marriage etc.
