Its a time of Jacobs trouble . Not the church trouble.Right..we the church will be there until the wrath of God when we are raptured..near the end, not the beginning.

What’s the prize then? In a Christian life isn’t that the crown of life?Context is key. Notice it doesn't say 'eternal life '. Saying Eternal life is a prize literally violates too many scriptures to mention . Eph 2.,9 being one
Grafted in...right? Who else is going to give their testimony for Jesus when the Jews don’t believe? Its a time of Jacobs trouble . Not the church trouble.
The ' prize ' is what Paul said it is . Did you read it ?What’s the prize then? In a Christian life isn’t that the crown of life?
James 1:12
Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.
The Gospel of the kingdom, during the tribulation.Grafted in...right? Who else is going to give their testimony for Jesus when the Jews don’t believe?
Mark 13:9-10
But be on your guard; for they will deliver you to the courts, and you will be flogged in the synagogues, and you will stand before governors and kings for My sake, as a testimony to them. The gospel must first be preached to all the nations.
Sure its that upward call..the crown of life. The ' prize ' is what Paul said it is . Did you read it ?
Sure its that upward call..the crown of life.
Paul had a “high calling” (Heb. 3:1; 1 Cor. 1:26; 2 Thess. 1:11; 2 Tim. 1:9). 2. There was a “prize” to be obtained if this calling was fulfilled (Col. 4:17), and this prize came in the form of CROWNS (see 1 Cor. 9:25; 1 Thess. 2:19; James 1:12; Rev. 2:10; 2 Tim. 4:8; and 1 Pet. 5:4).Sure its that upward call..the crown of life.
Yep..there is a prize and that’s the crown of life....you can’t get it if you don’t believe.Paul had a “high calling” (Heb. 3:1; 1 Cor. 1:26; 2 Thess. 1:11; 2 Tim. 1:9). 2. So Paul is trying to attain believing?Yep..there is a prize and that’s the crown of life....you can’t get it if you don’t believe.
If you lose your belief...and everything in this world is trying to work at that aim...are ya still saved? So Paul is trying to attain believing?
The only way a believer could go to hell would be for God to undo everything that happens to a person who receives Jesus . There is no scripture that says this .If you lose your belief...and everything in this world is trying to work at that aim...are ya still saved?
The believer falls away from the faith...God doesn’t have to do anything..The only way a believer could go to hell would be for God to undo everything that happens to a person who receives Jesus . There is no scripture that says this .
That doesn't address what i said . We recieve Jesus, we recieve The Holy Spirit , Eternal life , Justification, the righteousness of Christ , predestined to the Adoption, Sealed by the Holy Spirit, seated with Jesus spiritually ( Eph 2.6 ) , remission and redemption, Forgiveness of sins, past present and future..the list is extensive and i could go on . " falling away " doesn't fit . Were not clinging onto a ladder .The believer falls away from the faith...God doesn’t have to do anything..
1 Timothy 4:1
But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons.
You say falling away doesn’t fit..yet the Holy Spirit explicitly tells us that some will fall away from the faith. Which means that it does fit. Christians can and do fall away from the the faith. And it has to be Christians doing the falling away..otherwise what faith would the Holy Spirit be talking about? That doesn't address what i said . THE faith, the falling away is most likely done by nominal Christians, people who intellectually agree with much of Christianity without actually yet being born again. 1 John 2:19 makes this clear: They went out from us, but they did not belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us. But their departure made it clear that none of them belonged to us.You say falling away doesn’t fit..yet the Holy Spirit explicitly tells us that some will fall away from the faith. Then we have control over all those in the list i gave , which is quite impressive to be maintaining all those things somehow. We barely have control over our bodily functions . And your saying we have control spiritually over the residing of the Holy Spirit and power to change all the things God does ? which verse says this? You say falling away doesn’t fit..yet the Holy Spirit explicitly tells us that some will fall away from the faith. I think you’ve already told me that. If that’s the case..then why does the Holy Spirit say explicitly that some will fall away from the faith. Implies to me that they were of the faith...and not just nominal Christians.THE faith, the falling away is most likely done by nominal Christians, people who intellectually agree with much of Christianity without actually yet being born again. 1 John 2:19 makes this clear: They went out from us, but they did not belong to us. No, I’m saying we have to keep believing the things that you learned at first...i.e. Jesus is God, we are sinners...and I’ll add growing in Jesus. You can’t just be saved..you have to have a relationship with God that is abiding...you can’t fall away from the faith. Then we have control over all those in the list i gave , which is quite impressive to be maintaining all those things somehow. We barely have control over our bodily functions . And your saying we have control spiritually over the residing of the Holy Spirit and power to change all the things God does ? which verse says this?
Here we go on the "context" debate. I do not find it true that God does not simply speak truth. When we turn a blind eye to that truth because of the context of who God was speaking to then we are turning a blind eye to God in my opinion. God did not tell anyone to not listen to Him, or that He was speaking one way to one group and another to a different group. He told the diciples .
