I think my question is more reasonable. I have no issue with being water baptised after one is baptised by the Holy Spirit into the body of Christ . My issue is with all this nonsense about Acts 2.38 being used for Gentiles . Acts 2.38 is not for Jews or Gentiles today . It was specific for the Jewish audience Peter was addressing at that time .
ALL scripture is given for inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

This was given to Timothy by Paul in a gentile context.

The Jews were scattered A FAR OFF .

if that is the case you have shot a big hole in your own position LOL. Truth is a higher form than facts
The book of Acts records what happened . The facts of what took place . Of what they said and did . The truth .

again Peter doesn't have to be speaking to gentiles for it to be applicable. Acts 2:38 is to the Jews however as I said the application can be to all as it is said in Acts 2:39 which you said it doesn't you are wrong.
This would be generalising a text . " I know its specifically to Israel ,but I think we can ' apply ' it ...." This is the issue.

again the application is proper to say Acts 2:38 is for all today.

then apply it to your life. Faith without works is dead. Saying I believe without obeying is just that nothing.
We do not recieve Jesus ,and the Holy Spirit ( John 1.12 . Eph 1.12-13 ) through Faith and works . So I.ll continue to believe the bible on this . I will not preach that a person needs Faith and works in order to recieve Jesus and the Holy Spirit .

Yes but the grace of God that saves produces faith that works. Eph 2:10 James and Paul agree because the same Holy Spirit that moved Paul to write moved James to write.

10For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.?

WE do not receive Jesus and the Holy Spirit? and you use John 1:12 and Eph 1:12-13 as the test for that answer?

You most certainly DO receive the Holy Spirit and the Lord Jesus Christ when you are saved AS Jesus said you would. What kind of foolishness is this? NO one said nor did I say you need works to receive Jesus you are an untruhful person.

WE are saved by Grace Through Faith. Faith is a noun Belief is an action. YOU create a false narrative because you are unbiblical.

Then try to start that old salvation by works garbage. Play that game with someone else.

You said ". I believe ' predestination ' is what happens after......"
The term predestination is contradicted by the word after.
Those who come to belief/faith in the shed righteous blood of Christ for the remission of sin are predestined in that it was God's plan from before the foundation of the world, that whosoever would accept Christ's sacrifice on their behalf, should attain to life ever after and escape the second death. Predestined in that sense is not taken to mean chosen before hand, but that the promise is made good to "whosoever will."

I never said that so why are you trying to make a lie of something? I already said "Saved by Grace Through Faith"Eph 2:8. The Holy Comes into you when you are saved to bare witness that you are a child of God as the word of God says. Rom 8:16

if is because of Faith YOU do receive christ The faith has been given to the person to receive. YOU are just stuck on salvation by works argument because you are into creating a false narrative. Without Faith, it is impossible to Please God so stop bashing faith.
