Unlike feelings and opinions, word definitions don't change. By having a constant unchanging point of reference we are able to create order out of chaos. That being said, words have meaning. The term abortion sounds like someone jettisoned dead weight to save the mother ship. It's dehumanizing and the term is disarming, unable to accurately describe what is being aborted or how.

The term murder is much more accurate because only living things can be murdered, but cargo can be aborted.

It's through the dumbing down of language through political correctness they carry out an agenda of genocide in broad daylight on one street corner while people have their morning coffee on another corner.

It's the moral decay of society that has normalized evil and desensitized the masses and it is done by political correctness.

Planned Parenthood - do they actually plan parenthood?
Antifa - are they actually anti-fascist?

Thing is news is actually funded by advertisers. They have a vested interest in news because their ads always appear in the breaks. Many times the newspapers actually put full page ads on the front page.

so what happens is as long as they have copy, advertisers are happy. It can be anything. Some poltiicans will have a silly argument in parliament, like they do on a regular basis, and it will be news.

It will cause a divide or even persecution but there is no middle ground with crazy.

I don't think we have to validate the subtle and gradual redefining of words. We don't have to cede any group in a language war to those who would supplant good things with bad things.

It isn't words that change so much that it is people that change. God is eternal and what he has ordained are objective truths.

Things like gender, sex, life, morality, and more do not change. It is people's emotions and opinions that change.

Agree. The mission is to indoctrinate the rising generations. They will be easier to brainwash than us who remember when things made at least some sense. After the majority of the old traditional thinkers die off, the new will take over in leadership and radically change the nation. Of course, this is happening as we speak, the far far left-wing radicals like the squad, AOC, and new members are young and very extreme.

in the days before internet, newspapers were published daily and became fish and chip paper the next.
Now with internet, published news can change every minute. Newsfeeds can rapidly overflow and become obsolete.

In orwells 1984 which was actually written in 1948...the scenario was people constantly writing and rewriting history, by copying and pasting and deleting books and papers. This happens in a publishing cycle anyway but often deliberatley by different publishing houses to push one kind of agenda over another.

However, Orwell advocated free journalism that wasnt shackled to a govts agenda.
If you ever worked in news (called in those days, the press), you might know that a lot of govts would send out official press releases to inform people of the govts view of what people should be doing.

A lot of it would be propoganda.
but seeing as govts often are not truly representative of everyone. Of course not everyone is going to fit or have a voice. Those who oppose the govts agenda are deemed 'politically incorrect'. and it can work for whatever poltical side you think is the 'correct' one. Most often none of them are!

I have been saying for a long time that the battle today is not with homosexuality, communism, education, government and so on. The battle today is with truth v lies. The wonderfull weird left has made it an art form to try and convince people that the truth is lies and lies are the truth. In other words they want you to beleive what they believe but they can't because it is lies so they have to embark on a plan to make the lies sound like the truth.

A classic example is homosexuals calling you a homophobe if you disagree with them. The word homophobe means a fear of homosexuals and homosexuality. It has nothing at all to do with trying to put one over homosexuals or meaning that you hate them which is their take on the word. They use it to stop you showing that they are wrong and you are right. As we all know now, homosexuals are NEVER wrong.

Another word they have hijacked is the word gay. Generally speaking if I want to know the truth about homosexuality I take the opposite view of what they claim. So if they say they are gay, I know for a fact that they are not. I came across a book about a researcher that spent two years tracking 200 homosexual on Fire Island, which is an enclave for homosexuals. In his book outlining his research he said that one thing they are not is gay. In fact he said he had never met so many unhappy people.

So when you discover a word hijacked to say what is lies, it is important to say the opposite and tell the truth.

The word phobia means that something is an "irrational" fear. Being vague is another way people can make words apply to anything because what is irrational can be an opinion.

Calling someone a "homophobe", for example, especially in a public setting, is a way to force compliance. It doesn't matter if the accusation is real or not as long as enough people believe it. It can not be easily confirmed or denied nor does it need to be when emotions are being appealed to.
