Do you have a verse where Gentiles are told to repent and be baptised to recieve the Holy Spirit?
For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

1 Cor 12:13

Literally the verse I just quoted...

By one spirit we are all baptized into one body, whether we be jews or gentiles...

I don't understand how it could get more clear than that...

Or are we playing the Muslim game where they say "SHOW ME WHERE CHRIST SAYS I AM GOD WORSHIP ME" and you show multiple verses of Christ claiming He is God... But they say "NONE OF THEM SAY 'I AM GOD WORSHIP ME' SO YOU HAVE FAILED THE TEST"

Are we playing that game? If so please let me know because I don't want to waste my time.

Yes your showing me a verse that Paul is saying to the 'body 'that then ( and today both Jews and gentiles are baptised into one spirit ,what's your point? Do you have a verse where Gentiles are told to repent and be baptised to recieve the Holy Spirit?

I have a verse that tells me how it happens today by the same apostle to the gentiles in Ephesians 1 .12-13 .
could you answer the question please ? Notice in Eph 1.12-13 there is no " repent be baptised, no " for the remission of sins , or " to recieve the Holy Spirit " . I do have a verse where Peter told something to Israel though in Acts 2.38 which has nothing to do with anything else .

12That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
13In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise

Those verses? What about them?

If you are hanging your whole premise on the wording that Paul is not saying you had to be baptized, then what about Christ saying in Mark 16:15-16
15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned

So Jesus Himself is saying, go to everyone, and those who believe and are baptized are saved....

But where should they go? Only to the Jews?? Nope.... To the whole word....

BUT WAIT!!!! The exact same word πιστεύω (belived) is used in each.

Now show me, where does it say Gentiles do not have to be baptized? I just showed you where Christ said ALL PEOPLE have to be baptized.

Ok slow down . Your now engaging in proof text ,scatter gun approach. Each verse has its own context, its not a jigsaw.

Notice the order ? No baptism in water ect ?Notice how this lines up with Rom 10,9.10 ?

Despite the fact that the same word is used in both Mark 16 and Ephesians 1....

Despite the fact that Paul, said his Lord and God is Jesus and he bases all his teachings off of Christ....

Despite the fact that without Christ words we have nothing...

I guess nothing has to do with Ephesians, throwing away scripture to suit your theology is a great way to create dogma :) I wish you all the best with your dogma endeavors.

We will just forget that Christ said to baptize all people of the world in Mark 16, and pretend He never said that :)

But my question still stands, where in the Bible does it say the Gentiles do not have to be baptized?

When did I reject to be baptised in water ? Why are you assuming the word baptism means water in all usages ? Again ,and for the third time ( I feel like I'm having my time wasted now) Where is the verse that is to gentiles that in order to recieve the Holy Spirit they need to repent and be water baptised for the remission of sins , please? . Like I said. I have a verse where Peter is addressing Israel in Acts 2.38 about some stuff THEY the audience who heard audibly things they ! needed to do . please answer without going backwards to a verse that says nothing about water or that the Holy Spirit is only recieved that way for gentiles. I gave you a verse which applies to the body ( Jew / gentile ) in Eph which gives no mention of water ect . Neither does Romans 10 ,9 or 1 cor 15 ,1-4 which is specific about salvation and how to appropriate 'normative '

So now Mark 16 has nothing to do with water...

So your argument is baptism means recieving of the Holy Spirit...

Well I hate to continue on smashing your dogma since you are so proud of it but.....

Matthew 28:18-20

18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
That says to baptize all nations, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.... The same as Acts 2:38 but you say that is only the Jews....

So if both are the exact same words, yet you say Acts 2:38 is a water baptism only for the Jews, what do you do about Christ saying to baptise the Gentiles the same way?

I'm saying Peter is talking to Israel / Jews . That they have to do something. That specific audience .Thats a fact . Well this not taught in certain denominations of course . I realise that .

Who is Peter and Pual, a man or God?

Who is Christ a man or God?

Why do you insist on taking mans word over Gods when God Himself says multiple times as I have shown, to baptize ALL NATIONS (not only Jews) to be saved.

You really need to check on what you are believing if this is a common occurrence.... Sounds like you are valuing vain words over living words.

Yes baptise all nations . Why are you assuming this verse means more than what it says ? And all scripture is from God, not just those bright red ones .

Yes and when David took his generals wife and had sex with her, should we take that as doctrine that we can not only lust after another mans wife but sleep with her?

SO, if you have conflicting verses (they are not conflicting but you make them to be), and God says Baptize all nations in the name of the Father Son and Holy Spirit, and you have another which you interpret to only mean Jews....

Who's word should you take, mans or Gods?

The Bible is an accurate documentation of Gods work in the world through man. Not a documentation of infallible men.

Now I am angry. Extremely angry.

HOW DARE YOU SAY I AM ADDING TO SCRIPTURE WHEN YOU ARE THE ONE ADDING TO SCRIPTURE!

Mark 16

15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

WHEN YOUR DOGMA HAS BECOME SO GREAT THAT YOU THROW AWAY WORDS OF CHRIST AND ACCUSE OTHERS OF "ADDING TO CHRISTS WORDS" WHEN THEY ARE QUOTING THEM, BECAUSE IT DOESN'T FIT YOUR DOGMA...... YOU ARE IN A VERY BAD SPOT.
