I had a very disappointing discussion with a family member yesterday. She was 100% convinced Biden and all the Democrat leaders were going to be arrested at the inauguration. When it didn't happen, she was sad but said "at least they gave me hope". I don't think false hope is ever something to cling to. We have hope and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, not in a man. This same family member refuses to give up reading Qanon garbage even after what they claimed would happen didn't happen. I pleaded with her to stop reading that garbage because it's toxic. She has an addiction, an undying loyalty to Trump... Trump is her golden calf and Qanon followers are the apostles.

I pray for all people in bondage under the Qanon lie. I pray they find the truth and channel their energy and passions towards Christ and Christ alone.

'Q' has only come to the fore recently as lefties wallow incessantly in it thinking the rest have to as well – the normies could really care less. Some may feel compelled to regard it only now mystified as to the swamp hucksters endlessly banging the drum in their faces.

However your relative sees clearly. As with others here sad that u throw in liars, thieves and cheats to betray your country to criminally minded deviants. Some people find it easy to do.

P.S. ‘Prez’ Harris appreciates your servility.

Qanon operates out of sharing enough truth and enough subjects that touch the hearts of American patriots. They use this to bring in new members. Then if you begin to go down the "Rabbit hole" you will find things like an elite cabal, pedophile rings, sex trafficking, the global elites drink the blood of children they killed, and Q is their prophet. Trump is their savior. Qanons are their disciples. And "The Storm" is when this cabal will be arrested and the military will enact it. This bringing in their Great Awakening which will consist of peace, harmony and will make America great again. It even talks about time travel and JFK's brother was never killed but actually still alive and part of Q.

The research is getting harder to understand because media sites have banned their content.
Their content should be banned.
These bat poop crazy conspiracy theories are radicalizing domestic terrorists

I keep hearing similar stories.

I first began to be bombarded with this phenomenon last March. I have learned a lot about what my response should be if I want to avoid strife help people grow in their relationship with Christ.

My current plan is to write out a few statements that I can use to change the subject and get someone talking about their own relationship with Jesus Christ. Practice how I would say it so that it will be heard and get the appropriate response.

"Have you been praying and asking the Lord to show you anything in your life that is not pleasing to Him?"

Of course sharing with them something that the Lord has been changing in me might be another way to get them to open up.

The goal is to get them to stop talking about the "perceived evils" in the world and dealing with the issues of their own heart so that they can realize that is what they will be accountable for. But you can't just come out and say it like that. You want to get them to talk and discover things about themselves on their own.

I like to talk about how wonderful Jesus is to grant repentance and to give power over the sin or addiction or flesh habit we were in bondage too.

This kind of conversation might get them talking about the bible again at least for that conversation. Each time they try to shift back to the the "perceived evils of the world" you have to ask another question to get them to talk about personal scriptural application again. Like "what do you think about this verse? 31Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. 32Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

This one and others like it from the NT that talk about how we should not strive and argue are excellent verses to get them to self discover how they might be getting off track. Without you saying anything they will often say that they are going to stop watching the news or responding to be people on Facebook. That is when you know that your strategy of steering the conversation away from the "perceived evils of the world" to the heart of relationship with Christ is working.

This kind of counseling takes finesse. You will not get it right the first few times because you will probably "take the bait" when they pressure you to take a stand on a "perceived evil of the world issue" and it takes practice to avoid engaging in the topic and steering it back to the "what has the Lord showed you that you need to work on lately" conversation.

We are going to have to do this a lot today. It is now a part of daily ministry. Maybe later it will be less frequent. Today it is several times a day. Let us do our part to bring the unity of the Spirit back into our fellowships.

Excerpts from Republican Ben Sasse's article in The Altantic:

Until last week, too many in the Republican Party thought they could preach the Constitution and wink at QAnon. They can’t.

January 6 is a new red-letter day in U.S. history, not just because it was the first time that the Capitol had been ransacked since the War of 1812, but because a subset of the invaders apparently were attempting to disrupt a constitutionally mandated meeting of Congress, kidnap the vice president, and somehow force him to declare Trump the victor in an election he lost. En route, the mob ultimately injured scores of law-enforcement officers. The attack led to the deaths of two officers and four other Americans. But the toll could have been much worse: Police located pipe bombs at the headquarters of both the Republican and Democratic National Committees. Investigators discovered a vehicle fully loaded with weaponry and what prosecutors are calling “homemade napalm bombs.”

The violence that Americans witnessed—and that might recur in the coming days—is not a protest gone awry or the work of “a few bad apples.” It is the blossoming of a rotten seed that took root in the Republican Party some time ago and has been nourished by treachery, poor political judgment, and cowardice. When Trump leaves office, my party faces a choice: We can dedicate ourselves to defending the Constitution and perpetuating our best American institutions and traditions, or we can be a party of conspiracy theories, cable-news fantasies, and the ruin that comes with them. We can be the party of Eisenhower, or the party of the conspiracist Alex Jones. We can applaud Officer Goodman or side with the mob he outwitted. We cannot do both.

The newly elected Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene is cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs. She once ranted that “there’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take this global cabal of Satan-worshiping pedophiles out, and I think we have the president to do it.” During her campaign, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy had a choice: disavow her campaign and potentially lose a Republican seat, or welcome her into his caucus and try to keep a lid on her ludicrous ideas. McCarthy failed the leadership test and sat on the sidelines. Now in Congress, Greene isn’t going to just back McCarthy as leader and stay quiet. She’s already announced plans to try to impeach Joe Biden on his first full day as president. She’ll keep making fools out of herself, her constituents, and the Republican Party.

Conspiracy theories are a substitute. Support Donald Trump and you are not merely participating in a mundane political process—that’s boring. Rather, you are waging war on a global sex-trafficking conspiracy! No one should be surprised that QAnon has found a partner in the empty, hypocritical, made-for-TV deviant strain of evangelicalism that runs on dopey apocalypse-mongering. (I still consider myself an evangelical, even though so many of my nominal co-religionists have emptied the term of all historic and theological meaning.) A conspiracy theory offers its devotees a way of inserting themselves into a cosmic battle pitting good against evil. This sense of vocation that makes it dangerous is also precisely what makes it attractive in our era of isolated, alienated consumerism.

Read the full article, it's well written at:

The idea Trump would expose this was not going to happen because both GOP and DNC are a part of global child trafficking.
The election fraud would not be challenged because Trump was hated by his own party and not defended. IF the GOP would have stood by Trump during the first Impeachment and confronted the lying media which we all know even Democrats that Trump did not collude with Russia Biden did. We know the FISA court was lied to and used a fake Dossier to get surveillance on a new POTUS.

Adam Schiff did not even produce the whistleblower who Trump had a right to face his accusers.

no accountability was the GOP's fault, not the Democrats we all knew they were not going to, but the GOP? No deeper state than the GOP.

It is time to get out of DC politics, and get into local politics. The only way we can bring this nation back reality is to raise up a fresh group of christian politicians. That starts at our front door.

There is a difference between the lies of all politicians and the lies of a man who is absolutely delusional.

:ROFL::ROFL:

Ahh, so only some lying is ok in your view. Got it.

Many have pointed out the only civil rights record Biden claims he has are either lies or supporting policies that were anti-civil rights. (his own VP called him on this)

On numerous occasions, Biden claimed he was involved in the desegregation movement, was an activist and/or organizer within the civil rights movement, that he had been trained as a civil rights activist in Black churches, that he had participated in civil rights sit-ins, boycotts and marches, and even went so far as to claim he was “raised in a Black church.” None of it was true, not even a little bit. It was all a complete fabrication. (we call that delusional)

Biden was so brazen that on several occasions he claimed he was in Selma and Birmingham during the great civil rights movements. He repeated these falsehoods numerous times, some even after he was caught in the lies.

Biden said in 2020 “I had the great honor of being arrested with our U.N. ambassador on the streets of Soweto trying to get to see (Nelson Mandela) on Robbens Island” (according to Politifact). This was the third time he repeated the lie.

Biden has often repeated he “opposed that ‘three strikes and you’re out’ bill. I oppose the position taking that, saying that you’re going to have any mandatory sentences.” What bill was he referring to? The notorious 1994 Crime Bill he championed (a bill he actually referred to as the ‘Biden Bill’). Another lie.

Not only did the bill have the “three strikes and you’re out” provision, it also had mandatory life imprisonment mandates. This one piece of legislation did more to solidify the “classroom to prison cell” criminal justice system some believe America has become more than any other piece of legislation.

“Biden’s Bill” was so destructive that equal justice activists such as Desmond Meade called it “the mother ship for mass incarnation,” and Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J., stated that Biden and the Biden Bill was “an architect of mass incarceration.”

Biden stated in 2001 that "An errant driver who stopped to drink instead of drive and hit – a tractor-trailer – hit my children and my wife and killed them." A lie repeated by Huffington Post when it printed "Delaware's Senator-elect would face a more difficult challenge soon after his election, when a drunk driver struck the car carrying his family, killing his wife Neilia and daughter Naomi.”

The truth is Biden’s wife failed to yield the right of way, Dunn put his life in jeopardy when trying to avoid hitting the Biden vehicle, and after the accident tried to render aid to the Biden family. Delaware Superior Court Judge Jerome O. Herlihy, who oversaw the police investigation as chief prosecutor, said there was absolutely no evidence whatsoever supporting Biden’s “claim.” Curtis Dunn was in fact cleared of any wrongdoing.

At a recent event, Biden claimed, “The moment the Iraq War started I was against it!” He added, “I was always labeled one of the most liberal members of Congress.” He also told the crowd, "I went to law school on a full scholarship and ended up in the top half of my class." ( all lies)

Biden’s 1987 bid for the White House ended abruptly when he got caught plagiarizing a speech by Britain’s Neil Kinnock. Biden retold his speech, verbatim, about being the first in his family to go to college and said his family worked in the coal mines. Both of those were untrue, taken directly from Kinnock’s speech.

Just some of the lies Biden has told down through the years. So again, when a few of you here stop telling lies yourself, we could come to an understanding. Biden is no different than you claim Trump to be. That makes you either delusional, or biased because of your hate. Which is it? And this is to all of you trying to defend and paint Biden differently than he really is. You all are like cats trying to scratch poo of a marble sidewalk. smh Looks like we have two cults going here.

This is how nutty the Qanon and other conspiricay theorists are. This poster is singling out Jewish Americans in Joe Biden's cabinet while failing to note that trump had Jewish Americans on his staff. Reeks to me of Anti-Semitism.

Those folks have totally lost their marbles in that thread.
Already said I never believed in Q. So you're saying whoever is behind Q is anti-Semitic?
