Yes, of course. Since God is eternal, the Son is eternal (everlasting). And this was confirmed even in the prophecy which spoke of His birth as Jesus, Ruler of Israel:
But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be Ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting. (Micah 5:2)
'prior to his appearing in the flesh'. Jesus is of the flesh by definition, thus cannot exist in any other form.

He was always/will always be Divine, but He did not become a human being until His Incarnation about 2,000 years ago. Oh well, there's no reason to take your time to explain further (unless you want to) since we believe the very same thing (and the rest is really just a matter of semantics I guess

The entire chapter is about Jesus. The Word is Jesus.
John 1:1-5
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shined in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

And the name Jesus only came because of his incarnation. Before that he wasn't called Jesus nor was He human. He was 100 percent God and Zero percent human until he took on a human body.
Hello again Vicky, what led you to believe that Jesus has always been a human being or "of the flesh"
Also, if He was a human being from everlasting, how was He formed as one of us in the womb of His mother and then born as a human baby at His Incarnation Thanks!

This is true although not explained as well as I did.
Before the incarnation he was not called Jesus. Before the incarnation he wasn't human.
The Word was incarnated and given the name Jesus (Yeshua in Hebrew pronunciation). The Word was not called "Jesus" before the incarnation. Same person, but a new name was given as well as a human body.
That has certainly been true for the last 2,000 years or so (since His "Incarnation"/since He 'took on' flesh for our sakes), but that was not true of Him prior to His Incarnation.

Hebrews 2
14 Since all of these sons and daughters have flesh and blood, Jesus took on flesh and blood to be like them. He did this so that by dying He would destroy the one who had power over death (that is, the devil).
Jesus has a Heavenly body and Earthly body. Before anything existed, Jesus was in Spirit Body we call the WORD (John 1:1-5 explains who this is). But in order to die for our sins, Jesus needed a human/Earthly body that could BLEED out, perish, be buried, so He could Resurrect.
