Apparently in the States at one point it was considered unpatriotic to drink tea LOL
Coffee became much more popular then![]()
The various infusions people call tea are often touted as having some health benefitI like both.
I love authentic Indian food.
Hey! Me TOO!
Buffalo tongue, heart or liver cooked over a nice, hot wood fire. Roasted horse, but mule is a wee bit better. Served with a side of roasted ears of corn.
Mmmmm......... Authentic Indian food..........
Ah not that authentic. I mean using fresh spices and making your own curry powder instead of using curry pastes from the jar and premixed spices or watering down things to adapt to other cultures.
Our spices were chili peppers, jalapenos, sage leaves, salt if we could get it and mesquite smoke
garam masala, tumeric, corriandar, cumin, cardamon, tamarind etc etc.
um are we talking apples and oranges here?
Indian food as in from the country India
vs.
Indian food as in Native American?
MAN! I could go for a good buffalo burger right about now..........
and maybe some of it's skins to snuggle up and keep warm under.......
it's 12F here!!!!!
One chai recipe I looked at had fennel in itI'm talking chili, garam masala, tumeric, corriandar, cumin, cardamon, tamarind etc etc. I have to say I don't like coriander though. Yuk it's too strong.
We Canadians are trying to move away from calling our Aboriginals "Indians"Yes I think we are talking about two different Indians here lol.

I guess there are various blends?
The base is black tea, though, which is why there is caffeine in it, though decaf is available too![]()
I went to bed around 8 last nightPlease I am supposed to be going to sleep and I am thinking and dreaming of food, chai, coffee, donuts, icecream. Sigh!!
I feel like doing a Nigela and raiding the fridge, but alas I won't.

Somebody tried arguing with me once, saying that was wrong, as if Aboriginals can only be Aussie
Native American is also acceptableAs well as Indigenous

aboriginal definition: Sometimes Aboriginal. relating to or typical of the original or earliest knownOh, I didn't know that. I thought aboriginals were only Aussie too but I think it means native to the country or something if I recall.
