Why would a call for national repentance be in order? We aren’t Israel...this isn’t about a national repentance....and you can’t pray away prophecy in that these things must happen to get to the end.

Totally disagree. Nineveh was slated for destruction and corporate repentance forestalled this. Israelites were commanded directly by God to pray for their city in the time of the captivity.
We aren’t the new Israelites. You are a Christian...does that mean your family members are too? Nope. We come individually to God. You can’t repent for a nation or other people...you can only repent of your sins. And...we aren’t going to be able to repent and our nation turns around anyway....Jesus is coming back and certain end times events have to happen...you can’t pray those away.
