The problem with Dispensationalists is that they chop up the Bible into so many pieces that it resembles a space alien autopsy, of which not even they can make heads or tales.;)

I believe the bible . I read it in context. Some Just read it devotionally and in mystical fashion as if every verse speaks to them . drop a finger upon the page " yup thats my verse for today " No clue about who the Author is addressing, when, why and what . If Jesus speaks this is elevated above all sense and context as if God isn't authoring all verses. Famously the pentacostals are guilty of this followed by the Calvinists . No clue of the difference between the OT and New T

I imagine your bible study resembles reading a set of passages and asking " how does this verse apply to my life "

There's a diff between "hearing" and "receiving" a knowledge of the truth. Receiving implies internalization, whereas one can hear a thing without internalizing it.

No, you chop up the Bible to make it say what you want. Sure, there are symbolic passages that require interpretation, but Dispensationlism denies across-the-board application of Biblical principles because of the unwelcome implications which arise.

Well again your have to take the test within context. These were Jews who had come close but ultimately rejected it.

Is it your contention that God will essentially remove the seal from an elected individual?

I'm sure there will come along another OSAS thread where we can pick up the discussion. I've gotten off track from the OP, which is that the "...the soul that sinneth SHALL die" doesn't refer to spiritual death, but a literal death of the soul...the point being that souls are not kept alive for eternity in torment.

Its quite simple . I start with the presupposition that the bible is Gods word and i read it in context.

You miss it . Those who are sealed by the Holy Spirit , regenerated will be glorified. We don't save ourselves .

The options are to believe the truth of the Gospel so as to be saved, or not .
Those who have recieved christ will then be glorified ( recieve the adoption) Those that refuse to believe the truth will not .

Claiming that James' words are only applicable to the 12 tribes, which is asinine.

First of all, 10 of the 12 are totally lost at the time of the writing of his letter.
Secondly, Christians are "spiritual Israelites" partakers of the NC, to which James' words spiritually apply.
Thirdly, Dispensationalism BY ITS VERY NAME means to chop up!

Good gravy, we should NEVER approach the Bible with ANY supposition in any form. That's why you guys never arrive at spiritual enlightenment, but only compounded delusion.

You didn't answer the question. We either die in a state of grace or disgrace...Which group is Jesus going to resurrect to eternal life.
