(1) I have never watched CNN in my life except by accident when it happens to be on in an establishment where I happen to be. Even then, I try to ignore it. I find their reporting weak, hap-hazard, and among the least reliable.

(2) Right-wing organizations have been organizing this for weeks. There is a paper-trail (well, an electronic trail, at least) of right-wing internet groups posting the exact time of this attack on the capitol, instructing people to bring weapons and be ready to use them. Right-wing groups. Not Antifa. Trump was aware of this planning and referred to it in his speech when he told people to march to the capitol. Trump absolutely instigated it, and by Constitutional law he (as well as the individuals who did breach the capitol, and the police who helped them) should be hanged. That is what the US Constitution says.

Stop acting like it wasn't right-wing extremists. Only brain-washed ignorant fools believe that.

For the record, I am well aware that not all conservatives are extremists, and in fact a majority of conservatives do NOT approve of the actions on Wednesday. In fact, once congress reconvened on Wednesday, many of the senators and representatives who had planned to object, in light of those horrific actions, switched their vote to approve, cementing Biden's win.

And you are very wrong about who is responsible for it. ALL of the people involved have been identified as members of right-wing extremist groups.

Unless Kevin McCarthy is a liar, he claims Trump has accepted some responsibility for what happened though. I don't think anyone is embarrassed they blamed him. However, there is proof that it was more than just Trump supporters instigating the riot so it isn't all on him either.

I was quite surprised to hear about Trump accepting some responsibility because he almost never accepts responsibility for anything he does wrong. He has a mindset that admitting fault is a sign of weakness. Exactly, while some took advantage of the BLM protests to riot most of the protestors were peaceful and were protesting mistreatment by cops not some imaginary election rigging.

Yes, I know some people say the lawsuits from Trump has been thrown out of court on the lack of standing, and not on the grounds of merit, but people saying that should have a look at the legislature regarding this, and maybe investigate why the courts in fact ruled that the lawsuits had no standing. The courts may have decided that the lawsuits just weren’t something that was for the courts to decide.

We have to move on. Just yapping about a steal is not only a wild goose chase, but also an obstruction of justice, hence the unfolding of the events that have happened in the aftermath of the general election.

It’s high time to admit defeat.
