In SA we also talk about the Poms when we battle the English rugby and cricket teams... but I know it is not a term of endearment and is disrespectful.
No worries. I don't take it all that seriously. Some people really don't like us, that's life. I left out Kiwis too, I think they might call us Poms sometimes. Rugby fans from all nations are some of the best behaved fans I've ever witnessed though.

I don't use the term Poms but I know many people that will say it when discussing rugby and cricket. Maybe it is a bit of sledging.....

I wonder why the new versions did not update the word "dung"? They totally change it to rubbish, trash, garbage, etc...

Make up your mind what you are shocked about will you?

Is it that rubbish, trash, garbage, waste, refuse & dung heaps are all the same thing but you want a smaller vocabulary?
Or is it that a current Bible translation didn't use the same term as early modern English for excrement?
Or is it that 'dung' is neither a Greek nor a Hebrew word?

Or is your latest nit-picking grievance just a pile of crap?

Using the word crap or another 4 letter word would be more genius in the new versions than rubbish.
