I absolutely believe the TRUE FAITH is the kind that happens in your HEART. Not a decision that happens between your ears. Here are some verses that say it all:

Romans 10:8-10 (HCSB)
8 On the contrary, what does it say? The message is near you, in your mouth and in your heart. This is the message of faith that we proclaim:
9 If you confess (NOTE: It has to be true in your Heart, before you can say it as a Confession.) with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 One believes with the heart, resulting in righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, resulting in salvation.

There are some that will say that is Works Righteousness to CONFESS JESUS is LORD.
NOT SO, LOOK at what it really says.

If it comes from the HEART, it is of the Holy Spirit, proving HE is in your Heart.
If it comes from the mind that lies between your ears, they have deceived themselves.

1 Corinthians 12:3 (HCSB)
3 Therefore I am informing you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God says, “Jesus is cursed,” and
no one can say, Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit.

Therefore since it says: One believes with the heart, FAR TOO MANY PEOPLE, think it is a decision in the HEAD, which counts as Saving Faith. I cringe every time I hear a TV preacher say: Just receive Him as SAVIOR, and you will be SAVED. That is a common deception, You have to BELIEVE IN YOUR HEART, Jesus is Lord". It seems like almost everyone in the world want a SAVIOR, to bail them out when they get in trouble; but FEW really wants a LORD who will control their lives.

Do you believe that someone who says “ Jesus is Lord” believes in Jesus with their heart and is saved?

Do you believe that someone who says “ Jesus is Lord” believes in Jesus with their heart and is saved?

I believe it you walk up to a group of Wino's and tell them You will give them all $5.00 to say, Jesus is Lord, THEY WILL ALL SAY IT.
HOWEVER, not ONE of them will be Saved because of it. You have to have, a deep, deep Conviction of SIN, and then out of AGAPE LOVE, surrender control to HIM for REAL in your HEART, before you can EVER SAY, "JESUS IS MY LORD" as a CONFESSION, which means Master, BEFORE SALVATION IS REAL IN YOUR HEART. All of that is a Work of the Holy Spirit, in the Human Heart (Human Spirit).

There are Many in the USA and Canada think they are Christians. But My BIBLES says:

Matthew 22:14 (HCSB)
14 “For many are invited, but few are chosen.”

The chosen few, absolutely KNOW HIM.

....and is born again.....
We are not saved while on this earth. Otherwise ...why would God be judging us...."it is appointed unto man once to die and then the judgement"........

NO, you don't get out of explaining what Imputed Righteousness means with that WEAK DEFINITION, because IF you are Born Again, you have it, whether you realize it or not. Explain it, or admit you do not know for sure?
Yes, I have the imputed righteousness of Christ, but I also am still burdened with my fleshly nature of filthy rags, which causes a constant battle within me, and if I understand the scriptures right, Paul had the same experience.

Can you explain to me how the natural unregenerate man, as described in 1 Cor 2:14, who does not discern the things of the Spirit, and thinks them to be foolishness, can believe in spiritual things with their hearts, when he still has the heart of stone of the unregenerate man, and can confess of breaking a spiritual law that he cannot discern?

Does not God change the stony heart to a fleshy heart in the new spiritual birth?

“Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved” (Acts 16:31).

  1. "For with the heart (core being) man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." ( Romans 10:10)
  2. "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." ( Romans 10:13)

Revelation 3:19-20 (HCSB)
19 As many as I love, I rebuke and discipline. So be committed and repent.
20 Listen! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and have dinner with him, and he with Me.

Jeremiah 29:13 (HCSB)
13 You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.

Psalm 51:17 (GWT)
17 The sacrifice pleasing to God is a broken spirit. O God, you do not despise a broken and sorrowful heart.

Philippians 1:6 (HCSB)
6 I am sure of this, that He who started a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 2:8-9 (NJB)
8 Because it is by grace that you have been saved, through faith; not by anything of your own, but by a gift from God;
9 not by anything that you have done, so that nobody can claim the credit.

2 Timothy 2:19 (HCSB)
19 Nevertheless, God’s solid foundation stands firm, having this inscription: The Lord knows those who are His, and Everyone who names the name of the Lord must turn away from unrighteousness.

1 John 2:19 (NKJV)
19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that of them were of us.

1 John 3:16-18 (HCSB)
16 This is how we have come to know love: He laid down His life for us. We should also lay down our lives for our brothers.
17 If anyone has this world’s goods and sees his brother in need but closes his eyes to his ⌊need⌋—how can God’s love reside in him?
18 Little children, we must not love with word or speech, but with truth and action.

OH YES!

I will give you a bit of my testimony.

Yes, I really did try to commit Suicide three times.

Two times with a Pistol to my head with the trigger half pulled, the third time I tried to stage a Motorcycle accident. After HE SAVED ME from myself and SAVED my human spirit as I surrendered to JESUS. First sign I was SAVED, was I was smiling a lot, despite the NASTY divorce after only 6 months of marriage, but for about 6 weeks was WAITING for HIM to do something in my life. And about five weeks in, I started to realize, HE WAS WAITING FOR ME TO START TO STUDY THE BIBLE. I studied the GOSPEL OF JOHN, and then I for Dr. MacArthur, was teaching REVELATION, and I the Bible went from 0 m.p.h to 100 m.p.h. in excitement. WOW! That made a BIG DIFFERENCE. My new born human spirit GREW LEAPS AND BOUNDS. He had a Plan for my LIFE, but it was on hold, until I GOT SOME BIBLE IN ME. I found Dr. MacArthur on Radio, Dr. Chuck Swindoll on Radio, Dr. Ed Young on TV, Dr. Charles Stanley on TV, and like I said, I Grew Leaps and Bounds. They were all for Evangelical style of Pastors, none of there Sermons contradicted one another. I found some more Pastors that I liked later on, all Evangelical style of sermons. He had a Plan for my life. I had a 10 years of studying through those Pastors, then he put it on my heart to move to California, and eventually he opened the doors for me to become involved in Prison Ministry, and I was in that Ministry as Volunteer Chaplain for 15 years.

I commend you in turning your life around your study of the word.

Star, I do not mean to be disrespectful, but would like to explain the scriptures as I understand them in my attempt to consider that all scriptures must harmonize with each other in order to understand the truths within them.

Romans 10, to my understanding, has reference to the born again children of God.

Many other scriptures, and Greek interpretations of some words have to be considered.

Save, saved and salvation, according to Greek interpretation, means "deliver", "delivered", and "deliverance". There is an eternal deliverance and there are many deliverances that born again children of God experience as they sojourn here in this world.

There is a difference in the nation of Israel, and the house of Israel. "The house of Israel" is the house of Jacob, as God changed Jacob's name to be no more called Jacob, but to be called Israel. Gen 33:28. All Israel is not of Israel, Rom 9:6. Jacob is representative of all of God's elect children, Rom 9:11.

When people are newly born again, they are but "babes in Christ" nurishing on the milk of the word, and gradually mature enough to have a knowledge of the righteousness of God explained in the doctrine of Jesus Christ

Isaiah 28:9-10, Whom shall he (the Holy Ghost) teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. For precept must be upon precept, line upon line, line upon line, here a little, and there a little. (notice that the ones that are taught are already born again).

Romans 10; Paul's prayer is that the babes in Christ that have "a zeal of God", of the house of Israel (Jacob) might be delivered (saved) from their ignorance of the righteousness of God and to submit themselves unto the righteousness of God in their understanding of the doctrine that Jesus taught.

Rom, 10, verse 9, Confessing and believing, which is a product of a born again child of God, results in a deliverance here in this world.

When we are born again God exchanges our heart of stone to a heart of flesh, Esek 11:19. The stony heart of the unregenerate natural man cannot confess and believe in the things of the Spirit, because he cannot discern them and thinks them to be foolishness. 1 Cor 2:14.

Respectfully, I am sorry, but I cannot see that the scriptures you have quoted connects with the mind and heart of the natural man described in 1 Cor 2:14.

The Natural Man is a Man than the Holy Spirit has never BIRTHED the human spirit into to him.

1 Corinthians 2:14-16 (NIV)
14 The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.
15 The spiritual man makes judgments about all things, but he himself is not subject to any man's judgment:
16 "For who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct him?" But we have the mind of Christ.

There is the simplified version, so what is your objection ? The man without the Spirit is a man that has NEVER BEEN BORN AGAIN.

Natural Man, is also a that Has Never BEEN BORN AGAIN. GOD's WORD translation words it this way.

1 Corinthians 2:14 (GW)
14 A person who isn't spiritual doesn't accept the teachings of God's Spirit. He thinks they're nonsense. He can't understand them because a person must be spiritual to evaluate them.

The New Century Version words it this way:

1 Corinthians 2:14 (NCV)
14 A person who does not have the Spirit does not accept the truths that come from the Spirit of God. That person thinks they are foolish and cannot understand them, because they can only be judged to be true by the Spirit.

The New Jerusalem BIBLE words it this way:

1 Corinthians 2:14 (NJB)
14 The natural person has no room for the gifts of God's Spirit; to him they are folly; he cannot recognize them, because their value can be assessed only in the Spirit.

They all mean the exact same thing. So explain How You Misunderstood all of those version ? ? ?

I understand the inability of the natural man too understand the things of the Spirit, All of those seven scriptures you quoted in your post # 149,534 has reference to those that have been born again with the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, and are not directed to the natural, unregenerate, man.
