I used to listen to much of Petra. I found this song tonight. It is really good.

twis why I have a hard time with Newsboys UNITED.........
because Tait brings a sound to them that is to much DC Talk style
I loved old Newsboys, and liked DC Talk, BUT the 2 mixed together is ehhhh okay. Although Newsboys (UNITED) is better now that Peter Furler and Phil Joel (both origional Newsboys ) are back on board.

hmm that's true

i'm not sure i'm ready to call Sixpence 'classic' even though i have been hearing them in grocery store muzak playlists for quite a while..
 
I didn't get into Christian Rock bands back then but I sure enjoyed Keith Green man his music still speaks to me.

I never really listened to either of them. But I was a teen when they were big and actually saw both in concert.
But I've no idea about any of this you're talking about 😅
