You need to study scripture for yourself, you not listening to me, for sinners Christ suffered and died for the Lord will not charge with iniquity.
You are right that I am studying scripture rather than listening to you.

again Preaching of the Cross is said to be foolishness to many so not surprised you say such.
Do you see it as foolish to believe what is written, that Christ tasted death for every man?

They will if they weren't forgiven. This is why we should repent often.

2Co_5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

Mat_4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
If we are already forgiven then is this what repentance is for? Repentance has an initial stage and continual process. Both are similar but have different purposes. Initial repentance involves the admitting of one's sins due to the conviction of the Holy Spirit and Word of God. This is within the process of salvation. As one believes, they repent, and then the acceptance of Christ.

Continual repentance has nothing to do with salvation. We are already forgiven and seen as righteous through the lens of Jesus. Continual repentance is basically a relational act to grow closure to God or to mend our relationship when tarnished by sin. The sin has still been paid in full but we still grieve the Holy Spirit. It is to protect us from evil as Satan and his forces look for these type of footholds. The areas of unrepented sins. With the desire to lead you astray and trap you in their snares. This can bring both physical and spiritual harm.

Hi. New here. IMO we are saved by grce alone through faith alone, meaning that when Christ died for our sin, He died for all of it... not just those in the past.
Also, repent means literally to “change your mind/heart.” It looks internally.

Repentance is something that all believers need to do, but that is in order to restore us into a close relationship/walk with the Lord.

Thx for considering my thoughts. Loved the reference to the judgment seat of Christ. We will receive rewards according to how we live in this life.

Only if you think having sins paid for without receiving Jesus could save anyone.
Those whose sins are paid for are saved, and because of that they will be given the Gift of believing on Christ. They will not ever be charged with sin, so they are given Faith to understand that.

Look up the Greek words for pistis and pisteuo. Very similar but also different.

No one is arguing that God imputed sin to the ones He declares righteous by faith.

But the scripture doesn't say these is the ones He exclusively died for. It says He died for all and the one that believes is saved.

You are writing your own Bible instead of believing the One God wrote.
Of course it means that. Since some people will die in their sins, hence God evidently remembers their sins upon them. Rev 18:5

For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.

Thats people Christ didnt die for, because God doesnt charge sin upon them e already charged their sins to Christ. So that automatically informs us He didnt die for every invidual. God doesnt remeber the sins of them He doesnt impute sin Heb 8:12

For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

Christ’s life, not his death is what saves. (Rom. 5:10; 1 Cor. 15:17)

Sinner is saved by regeneration, not atonement. (Tit. 3:5)

Glorification is what’s limited, not atonement. (Rom. 3:23; 8:17-30)

When Christ said, “It is finished,” on the cross, everyone was still in their sins as per 1 Cor. 15:17.

Atonement is one component of many components in salvation. It alone is not what saves. (Tit. 3:5; Rom. 5:10)

Atonement is a prerequisite for salvation, not the execution of it. (Rom. 5, 8; 2 Cor. 5; Tit. 3:5).

The Atonement must be received. (Rom. 5:11, 17; Jn. 1:12; 1 Cor. 15:1-4)

The Atonement does not glorify anyone. (Rom. 8)
What Calvinists call “the golden chain of redemption” contains no direct reference to the atonement. (Rom. 8:29-30)

Belief that salvation for anyone was secured on the cross constitutes a denial of the necessity of the resurrection (1 Cor. 15:17)

Salvation is eternally secured by the sealing of the spirit, not “election.” (Eph. 1:13-14; 4:30; 2 Cor. 1:22)
Those Christ died for, will not have sin laid to their charge. They saved, and will be given faith to believe.

Its a whole world of People that God doesnt charge with their sins 2 Cor 5:19

19 to wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation

He did taste death for every man He tasted death for, and consequently they will not have sin charged to them, so its impossible for any He tasted death for to die in their sins, that can never happen !

1 Cor 15:3-4

For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures

If Christ died for our sins, for He didn't die for everyone's sins, but if we're blessed to be of those He did die for, namely His Sheep or Church, then one thing is for certain, our sins cannot and will not be charged to us.

Rom 4:8

Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin. 1
You know I have been looking through this thread and I have seen you continue to take wise council especially from psthuman. You believe only a select are chosen to be saved correct? I even saw you answer how a calvanist knows they are saved and you said it is a matter of faith, this is where you messed up because it is by faith we are saved and by faith we know we are saved but faith is a choice an act of free will do we trust in him or not do we let our doubt comsume us or not do we accept him or not all these things are the crossraod of choosing to believe or not.

I see you know scripture very well but don't seem to have a great understanding of it not to mention it is unwise to cherry pick verses without taking into account the entire chapter or even the entire bible itself anyone can cherry pick and post verses for their stance I can pick so many verses out to attempt to prove you wrong but then you woulsd the same thing back and forth back and forth abusing scripture to simply prove our stance.

Let me ask you this you want everyone to understand your point and listen to your view yes? but how much of an effort have you done to do the same for them? opposition only creates opposition someone has to be the first to put their guard down

The repenting part is also required. There is no "automatic" sin forgiveness and future sins are upon someone when they commit them. See this verse:

1Jn_1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

There is no "already forgiven" in the bible. We are only forgiven IF we repent.

1Jn_1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Its written 2 Tim 3:7

ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
How do you know this verse isn't applied to you? every man is right in his own mind correct? Post human is actually very insightful with scripture just because he doesn't accept your point of view is no reason to mock him with scripture.
The word of God is holy and sacred it is not a toy and npot to be used for your own devises I would be careful as to how you use it

I know the A ,B ,C ,s of Calvinism.
Its like a package deal . 1 ) before you existed God chose for no reason given to ' elect ' you.

2) you are born .

3 ) You get zapped with a hindu enlightenment experience through no choice you made.

4 ) God preserves you till the end .

Whist this can be formalised by using the bible like a patchwork quilt , cherry picking tantalising proof texts with buzz words such as ' chosen , given , elect , predestined , before the foundation, draw ect , its not biblical, never has never will be with no understanding of the surrounding context.
