If works are required then we are saved by works are we not?Everyone has always been saved by faith. In the OT, and in the book of Revelation, people were (and will be) required to demonstrate their faith. In the OT they were required to keep the law. In Revelation it explicitly states that they must "endure to the end". Saul lost the Holy Spirit, and did evil in the sight of the Lord. After David sinned, he prayed to God not to take the Holy Spirit from him.
Throughfaith is right. Christians are sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit. People in the OT, and people who will be going through the tribulation, were not sealed with the Holy Spirit.

what did Paul say, did we receive the spirit by works of the law or by the hearing of faith?
Paul said we are saved by grace through faith for good works
imdo not believe we are required to do work, I believe Gods children will do work.
you do not have faith in someone, yet never do what they say or follow them in what they do. If you never did any of this, this would just prove your faith was dead and you never had faith to begin with

Eternal life is the word Jesus used
it means once a person is made alive who was dead, their life is eternal. And since it is based on Gods work and his promise, and not based on our work, we can be secure in our destination for all eternity

david never feared losing salvation. god called him a man after his own heart. god called him this knowing every sin he would commit. He could be secure in God. That’s why he trusted God
It doesn't say ' those '. The bible is clear that Jesus died for the whole world .
1 John 2:2
“And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.”
We have a verse today that says the Holy spirit was not given until Jesus was glorified. We have a verse that says we recieve the Holy Spirit unto to day of redemption.

It means the same. We were reconciled to God while being enemies, y the Death of His Son !

if you ever had faith, you were also gods enemy
you need to reconcile how a person condemned because of unbelief can be uncondemned while still in a state of unbelief
until then
you have nothing to offer me to come into your belief system
Just to be clear: Are you claiming God chooses people to send to hell without any chance for them to be saved? They could literally beg and plead for salvation and God will not hear them?
