ATM, we have five minutes to make a correction to an entry that we make. First, it can take me much more than five minutes to write a complete entry so if I go back and check it which I do and there is a mistake and five minutes have passed, I can't change it. It has to be posted with incorrect splenning or grammmar.

I have read an entry of mine the next day and even then found a spelling mistake but I can't correct it. On other forums on which I write, I can correct my entries anytime I want to. There is no time limit. I like this because I don't like to see my entries posted with mistakes.

Not going to happen. Been requested and refused. Proof reading it before posting it eliminates a lot of that need.

are you using a computer, or a smartphone ? I find a smartphone will do something that I didn't click on, or that I didn't prompt it to open.

I proof-read my posts, especially longer ones, before submitting. After I post I do a quick read for typos or mistakes. If I don't think that I can readily fix the post in the 5 minute window I highlight the post, cut it, delete it, and then re-post it. After a further edit I will then re-submit it. I wouldn't worry to much about typos and spelling errors as this happens all of the time. Most typo's are amusing anyway and nobody is perfect.

not sure why its five minutes here, I would like a bit longer too, but I suppose it was done because of trolls totally changing up their own posts or something.

Best to proofread everything before posting, but sometimes time is of the essence.

I dont worry about typos so much for my own self, and nobodys been a spelling and grammar nazi to me on here. Thankfully! its hard to type on an ipad as well.

If I see something and think oh I posted wrong, and I cant correct it cos five minutes have passed I just repost it or add my thoughts later in another post.

I think its better to do short posts than longwinded posts.
