I saw those news items about the signing a little while ago and was totally shocked (and dismayed). This was exactly the time for Trump to VETO that obscene bill, and send out a loud and clear message (to both the politicians and the citizens) that he is not a part of the Swamp, and he will not allow foreigners to be enriched at the expense of citizens who are receiving an insultingly paltry amount of compensation.
If he thinks this will win him any points in Washington, he is seriously mistaken. Now his enemies must be laughing at him, because he did threaten to veto this bill, and also delayed signing it, when it should have been shunted back to Congress the minute he received it. We shall see how this affects the outcome of his challenge to the fraudulent election, since he has now figuratively patted those same scoundrels on their backs (the ones who wanted to take him down since 2017).

You are ignoring the fact that any payment related to the COVID scamdemic should be regarded as COMPENSATION FOR DAMAGES.
This should not be considered as unemployment insurance or any such thing. As I said earlier, if all citizens could bring a class action suit against the United States government for the incalculable harm it has done to citizens over the last twelve months (including the theft of their liberties and their mental peace), then every citizen would probably receive $2 million in damages.
This does not even take into account all the losses of lives, properties, and businesses, etc. as a result of the government allowing the BLM and Antifa thugs to go on daily rampages in almost every city, and simply stand by.

There's no question in my mind regarding the three most important considerations'.
- Many americans need the money.
- It would take to long to sort through all of us and se who needs or dosn't need the money.
- We really can't afford it because of the National Debt.

Everyone is either (a) running scared of China or (b) already in China's pocket. The upper echelon of the United States government has been working on behalf of China for decades (no doubt having had their pockets lined by the CCP). So who will do what is right? Trump said he would go after China, and then ended up doing nothing.
There are now only two groups of Americans, and that is not along party lines either: (1) patriots (perhaps 5%) and (2) traitors (perhaps 95%). Now we will wait and see if Pence is in the first group or not. He already asked the judge to toss Gohmert's case, when it would have actually empowered him to do the right thing on January 6.
