I understand the logic in everything you're saying... especially bringing up the fact most of us aren't doctors and we should listen to them when it comes to their recommendation (LIKE WEARING MASKS lol). My issue isn't with preserving the mother's life, it's with Christians wanting to label every abortion as "murder" regardless of context. The argument I keep hearing is that "We can't play God. We don't have the right to take an innocent baby's life. By aborting, you are murdering." Yet, assuming an ectopic pregnancy is not viable is perfectly okay and not treated with the same standard... I've seen them call raped victims who chose to abort their baby a "murderer". I'm against that.

Which doctors do you listen to? Not all Drs agree.

Idk about labeling every abortion as murder. But you probably hear that because 98% are murder. Have you spoken long enough in detail with pro-life people? Context matters. If 98% are elective then that is the majority of importance. We can iron out the morality of the 2% after the majority are taken care of.
The argument I keep hearing is that "We can't play God. We don't have the right to take an innocent baby's life.
Then we best stop the doctors, the soldiers, the law enforcement, or the death penalty. But I see nothing in scripture to say we shouldn't have what I mentioned.

If the odds of survival for both mom and child are good then, of course, they should do everything to keep the child alive. But ectopic pregnancies can lead to not only the baby dying but the mother experiencing internal bleeding as the fallopian tube bursts or ruptures. It is 100× different than "oh I just do not want a child right now."

Well, it is wrong how they went about it but the child was innocent and died because the mother chose to kill it and the doctor aborted it.
Telling a woman who experienced rape that now they should kill that child carries even more abuse. They should be treated in pro-life, Christian therapy. Worst case they should give the child up for adoption. But to kill it is just as bad.
