the MOST irrational of all irrational numbers.
there's no such thing as 'most irrational number'

by definition a number is irrational if it can't be expressed a ratio of integers. that's binary.

if you want to apply the well-ordering principle to the naturally defined function I(r) = {1 if rational, 0 else}, you can, because there's a trivial mapping to the natural numbers -- but that makes all irrational numbers equivalently both 'most' and 'least' because they are all mapped to 0.

conclusion: effectively you've lauded us the least irrational of all irrationals. thanks :)

You both failed. Period.

And then you have the audacity to deceptively backfill your response by saying that you KNEW that it is the most irrational of all irrational numbers.

Preposterous.

I never stated I knew it was the most irrational of irrational of numbers .... .I know it is like pi....goes on and can't be written as a non infinite decimal

I stated it was the Golden Ratio, I know about its connection to architecture and art as my son did one year in architecture.

You have tremendous difficulty being civil it seems and continue to add, misrepresent what I post.

I will take that as an admission of guilt. And by the way posthuman is wrong...dead wrong. There is no doubt WHATSOEVER....that the so-called golden ratio is the MOST irrational of all irrational numbers. If he does not understand the implications noted below he is not worth his salt....

Fortunately......I do!

replace all those 1's with 2's and you have a different number.
is that number more or less irrational than phi?

you don't know what you're talking about, cv5. there are infinite numbers that can be expressed like the telescoping fraction you copy-pasted.

Well well well I am going to have to debunk those two red X's.
Your credibility is crashing on the rocks of willful ignorance. How in the world are you two going to redeem yourselves now???

Psalm 64

1Hear my voice, O God, in my [a]meditation;
Preserve my life from fear of the enemy.
2Hide me from the secret plots of the wicked,
From the rebellion of the workers of iniquity,
3Who sharpen their tongue like a sword,
And bend their bows to shoot their arrows—bitter words,
4That they may shoot in secret at the blameless;
Suddenly they shoot at him and do not fear.
5They encourage themselves in an evil matter;
They talk of laying snares secretly;
They say, “Who will see them?”
6They devise iniquities:
“We have perfected a shrewd scheme.”
Both the inward thought and the heart of man are deep.
7But God shall shoot at them with an arrow;
Suddenly they shall be wounded.
8So He will make them stumble over their own tongue;
All who see them shall flee away.
9All men shall fear,
And shall declare the work of God;
For they shall wisely consider His doing.

10The righteous shall be glad in the Lord, and trust in Him.
And all the upright in heart shall glory.

U.S. Supreme Court throws out Texas lawsuit contesting 2020 election results in four battleground states
The lawsuit challenged election results in Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin. The high court said Texas did not have standing to bring the case.

BY EMMA PLATOFF DEC. 11, 20205:39 PM

riskly rejecting a long-shot but high-stakes case, the U.S. Supreme Court on Friday tossed out the Texas lawsuit that had become a vehicle for Republicans across the country to contest President-elect Joe Biden’s victory.

In a few brief sentences, the high court said it would not consider the case for procedural reasons, because Texas lacked standing to bring it.

"Texas has not demonstrated a judicially cognizable interest in the manner in which another State conducts its elections," the court wrote in an unsigned ruling Friday evening.
