2nd Phillipians is packed with such abundance. I value so much how He not only tells us to humbly love and care for one another in action, but He also tells us what that looks like.

So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.
Philippians 2:1‭-‬4 ESV

I am far from loving as we are called, definitely not all the time. There is always more room for growth, for making time, extending myself for the needs of others. However, I am going to need His help. To be honest, I am tired and my desire to do is not what it should be.

I know, though, none of us are alone in our pursuits. He knows our hearts, where sincerity dwells, same with deceit. Fruits of His righteousness are abundant.

He tells us... His grace abounds so that our grace to action can too.

So Lord, help me please help me pour forward what You provide, that which without You, I wouldn't have, so that I can serve You and others selflessly. Forgive my selfish vanity that seeks to please myself.

I turn my eyes to You Lord, for there is where true applicable love penetrates.

we all want to be more like Christ...!

I think of Jesus, groomed for the Heavenly Kingdom as being the son of God, but tempted to take the earthly kingdoms of this world by Satan.

Jesus did not fall into temptation - he could have easily been King of the Jews by popular vote and ousted Herod. He could have had all the riches of the palaces and live a life of luxury, comfort and ease. But he didnt, he thought of others as worth more than himself.

The other thing was, all the miracles he did were not from himself alone..,He always pointed to our Father in Heaven as the Source.
