I see a lot of Christians using these verses and applying them to the Church. What say you ?

Eze 36

25Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

26A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

27And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

28And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.

Jeremiah 33

31¶Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:

32Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:

33But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

34And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more

Heb 8

10For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

11And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.

Hebrews 10

16¶This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;

17And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

18Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.

While some verses were specifically for certain groups of people, the verses themselves show Gods overall nature for the redemption of His created beings.

If this were not that case, particular scripture wouldn’t be codified in His universal word to mankind.

They pertain to Israel.

The church is exclusive to jesus...it is his bride.
Israel in the last days is not the bride of Christ. Jesus comes to physically deliver them as promised.
Jesus returns with his bride.

The Church is not revealed in the Old Testament (Eph.3:5, 9 etc.). The prophets were Hebrews, prophesying in Hebrews (except Daniel) about the Hebrew future. Looking back now, we can see types and shadows of the Church, but the prophets had no knowledge of the Church.

The Book of Hebrews was written to EX-Jews who had embraced Christ. I say "EX" because when a man or woman embraces Christ, they are born again by the Spirit and this ends their ethnicity. Etnicity comes from the womb and is abolished if a man is IN Christ (2nd Cor.5:17). This can be seen in Galatians 3:28 and Colossians 3:11.

Hebrews was written to these Ex-Jewish believers who, after persecution set in, thought that it was better under Moses, and were on the verge of returning to Moses. The Book contrasts the superiority of Christ over Moses in every aspect. But Hebrews also addresses the same question that arose among the disciples in Acts 1:6 and Acts 15:14-16 - what is Israel's NATIONAL future? Let us take one example: Is the Covenant of Law abolished, over, cancelled and/or removed? The answer is TWOFOLD:
  1. FOR ISRAEL the Covenant of LAW is still valid. You can see that the penalties of this Covenant are still in effect as Israel is largely still scattered among the Nations (Lev.26, Deut.28). It will be replaced WHEN Israel is resurrected, gathered and united as ONE NATION IN THEIR LAND. Ezekiel 37 predicts their resurrection and gathering, Ezekiel 36 and Jeremiah 31 and 33 (among others) predict a New Covenant OF LAW. The only difference, and it is a big one, is that the Law (which forms the basis of the conditions of the Covenant), will be written on the inward parts of the Israelite. He will thus intrinsically tend to keep the Law, and thus the Covenant.
  2. FOR THE CHURCH the Covenant of Law is nailed to the cross. The Covenant of Law had commandments in that forbade Israelites having relations with Gentiles. This would have prevented any unity in the Church. So Christ establishes a righteousness based on keeping the Law, and then takes the Law onto the cross with Him. A BELIEVER has then the righteousness of the Law IMPUTED to Him, and is absolved from the Covenant of Law.
THE GENTILES (all non Israelites and non Believers) never had a Covenant with God except that made with Noah (Gen.9:17).

But one point begs to be addressed. The Law regulates the Sacrifices and Offerings. If not one "jot" or "tittle" of the Law is removed, why then do we need Sacrifices and Offerings? The answer is that those Israelites who survive the Great Tribulation, PLUS all the Gentiles who come up annually to worship Jesus in Jerusalem (Zech.14:16) are still in the FLESH. The Sacrifices and Offerings NEVER EVER took away sins, and Christ's all-inclusive Sacrifice satisfied sins past, present and future (Heb.9:15). The purpose of the Offerings and Sacrifices was the "cleansing the flesh" (Heb.9:13). So any person who wants to have audience with "Emmanuel" in Jerusalem, must have his/her FLESH cleansed. The argument that the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus cleansed everybody is INCORRECT. While His SACRIFICE put away the "sin ans sins of the world", He only cleansed the flesh of BELIEVERS (Jn.13, Act.10)
