Supermarket chain Kroger is under lawsuit after firing workers who spoke out against wearing the new aprons that have LGBT symbols sown onto them. Due to their strong held biblical beliefs, 2 workers were fired after requesting to continue wearing the old aprons, one even offering to pay for a new one made WITHOUT the symbol. Other workers who have not spoken against this but have covered the symbol have had no disciplinary action.

I supported the bakery owner to not make a gay wedding cake because they own the business and should run it how they see fit. I would be a hypocrite if I then say, "Krogers should not run the company how they see fit." when it comes to Krogers and their abominable endorsement of LGBT. Just because I disagree with the LGBT community doesn't give me the right to flip-flop the principle that business owners should run their business independently of government involvement.

If the Kroger employees don't want to comply to the company's standard for dress code, they are 100% entitled to quit. The government can't and won't force them to wear the uniform and work.

1. the baker was forced to pay up for not baking the cake, so Kroger should be paying up for refusing to accommodate the employees belief. (And you know very well, if said employee was muslim Kroger would have caved). I hope this causes Kroger to fail. get woke go broke.

If you buy from Kroger then you support this woke garbage. do not spend a penny at the following places

The bakery owner was accused of discriminating based on sexual orientation. Unfortunately, that is how the courts see it. The supreme court refused to hear this case. This would have been a great case for them to decide on.

Rather than hoping Kroger's fails, I hope and pray they just accept diversity, inclusion, and acceptance of differing beliefs... the same sort of thing the LGBT community claims to champion. They only claim it when it fits a particular group of people.

Personally , If you are LGBT then keep it to yourself at work or in private and we can get along no problem, if you intend perversion, push it or brag about it then you force me to react .. Just common sense .. I would not force a non christian to wear Jesus stuff against their will either .. In fact I'd rather they didn't

There is absolutely no need to force employees to wear clothing that supports a particular lobby group of any kind. They could do their jobs just fine without an alphabet-soup apron. Kroger's as an entity can support whomever they like, without forcing their employees to violate their own consciences.

Here in nz there were some CEOs in the warehouse pushing the LBGTQ agenda but the thing is they probably arent doing it just because they themselves are inclined but as with anything they see a big huge market for LTGTQ people with disposable incomes.

Its in terms of dollars and cents that people will market to the ones who have the most money, and a lot of LTBGTQ people are actually extremely wealthy. They are willing to throw money at useless stuff too. more than the average housewife on a limited budget which is what a lot of shoppers that actually need basic stuff are.

I would have just covered the symbol up rather than kick up a fuss and insist on paying to make a new one or wear the old one...if that was a job I wanted to keep.
its because businesses cant be bothered and want everyone to look the same. some businesses you just dont have a choice, they give you part of the uniform for free so unless you wanna pay and wear your own clothes then you just wear it. a christian can always wear a fish symbol somehwere on their person if they really wanted.

my uniform has youtube, facebook and twitter symbols on it even when the business doesnt even do anything on it.

This will come and go quick,Kroeger cant push condoning homosexuality as a condition of employment, its that simple

Same applies to pushing race, politics, etc

The US Supreme Court will throw Kroger to the curb in a minute.

Reasonable accommodation is just one aspect, but its going to be ruled unconstitutional for Kroger to make it a condition of employment

Only 4% in America claim to be in the LGBTQIA category, dont make sense they push the majority of their customers around like this?

Boycott!

well, you dont have to shop or work there if you dont agree with them, same as with any business whether its in the majority or minority.

maybe its stakeholders, the ones with the money to invest, are lbqtas.

most employees dont really get much say in a business at all, as they dont own any shares, the employer just uses them for time and labour.

Actually, they can, but it takes great courage, commitment, and support from family, friends and the community. All they have to do is WALK OUT THE DOOR!

Very few businesses can remain open with no employees doing the work.

The Employees hold the REAL POWER. It's just that they lack the courage or commitment to exercise that power.

It is the same with our Government at all levels. Those Politicians in Office believe they have the power. That is far from truth. The ONLY power they have over the people is the power the people give to them.

This whole Nation could go through a drastic change IF ONLY the people would unite and stand as one against the Politicians and their evil corruption. If anyone doubts this, just look at what a few thousand radicals like BLM and the radical rioters have done this past year.

Imagine if TEN MILLION CHRISTIANS, men, women, children joined hands, stood up and shouted: ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! What changes would come? It all comes down to courage and commitment. I believe the Church is, and has been for quite some time, woefully short on having the courage of their convictions. Because of this, our Nation has become what it is. The Church has ONLY itself to blame.

you mean strike action
lots of people already do this, but it needs to be organised.
though lots of people actually accuse workers of being communists if they band together.
The problem is some unions are a bit ineffective at negotiating workers rights. and those in power can take YEARS to rectify things. By that time the children are probably grown up and left, or peoples homes are lost because they cant pay rents and mortgages, when action is slow.
