Please show me where ninivah converted to judaism
NopePaul told us straight up! Need to read his Epistles.
God did not break His Covenant with the Jews. THEY BROKE IT when they denied the promised Messiah.
There are numerous statements by Paul that clearly show the 1st Covenant waxed old and was REPLACED with the New Covenant, Grace. To call this a lie is to call the ministry, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus a lie!
Hebrews, Chapter 8:
6But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.
7For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.
8For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
9Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.
10For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
11And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
12For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
13In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.
Galatians, Chapter 3:
6Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.
7Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.
8And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.
9So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.
10For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.
11But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.
12And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.
13Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
14That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
15Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man's covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto.
16Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.
17And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.
18For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise.
19Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.
20Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one.
21Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law.
22But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.
23But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.
24Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
25But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
26For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
27For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
28There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
29And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Romans, Chapter 9:
6Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:
7Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.
8That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.
You can apologize now for calling us liars. I would have expected better from you.
Here you go again inverting the scripture. The nation that was born in a day is the nation that was born THE DAY JESUS CHRIST WAS BORN!God declares otherwise. Israel was the nation born in a day. If all the Jews there are God hating and beyond hope, why did God allow them to return to their homeland?! If He is against them, why didn't He just let them all die in the Holocaust? Why would He allow them on His land? They are there because that is exactly what was prophesied.
So they were not saved? Your serious?I already asked you previously to show me scripture where it states they were saved. I know they repented once.
As far as I could tell, you ignored that question.
So who are the righteous God refers to in sodom?1. Israel had no pet in the covenant. If you study the covenant. It was a one sided covenant. God put Abraham to sleep. And he walked down the center. He said “I Will” is noike the mosaic covenant where god said “if you do.../, then I will do...” And if you do not do. Then I will do this covenant was bound in God his promise and his interfaith only
God did not tell Abraham Isaac and Jacob if you do this. I will. He said i will?
2 the covenant in question is not the mosaic and not the covenant where any person receives eternal life
3 your request for an apology has no merit .
So they were not saved? Your serious?
oh that’s right, you believe salvation can be lost. Your a legalist.
no wonder you can not understand basic theology,
And your wrongI already said that, under Israel’s program for salvation, none of them has salvation when they repented.
Israel sins will only be blotted out at Jesus 2nd coming for the nation. (Acts 3:19-21)
Don’t you find it strange you cannot find a single scripture passage stating that those Nineveh were saved?
The gt is Jacob's trouble/ Israel's trouble. Not at all as we all know without jesus none would be saved. What I am saying is the church does not replace Israel.
The jews right now do not believe that Jesus is their promised Messiah. Let me take this up a notch. The leaders rabbis and such.
They teach that he is to come.
If the church were to replace Israel there would be no need of a second coming of Christ.
Jesus said unless the days were cut short no man would survive. In short the church gets raptured the judgement is poured out and whoever is left dies in their sin of unbelief.
But that's not how the story goes. Jesus comes back as the lion of judah to defend Israel. In fact during his first advent he gives them warning on the signs and times this would happen and tells them to look up for there redeemtion draws near.
Why look up you might ask? Again when jesus was teaching these things he said I see the son of man coming with the clouds of heaven. Luke 21:27.
Jesus knew he would be rejected but also came to fulfill the promise of the father to redeem Israel.
Because of the rejection they were blinded. Because of the crucifixion jesus days were shorten.
Very important to understand this.
Revelation 7 shows the tribes of israel being sealed by the Holy Spirit. The same seal we have.
So something had to happen to open up their eyes. Revelation also tells us they looked on him that was pierced.
Revelation is mostly focused on the Jewish nation and Jerusalem. Jerusalem is now the capital of Israel which is another fulfillment of prophecy along with Israel becoming a nation in one day.
So how close are we saints. Exciting times I tell you exciting times.
Justified.And your wrong
daniel was just as saved as you are, as was moses, as was all the saved jew or gentile of the OT
AgainAnd your wrong
daniel was just as saved as you are, as was moses, as was all the saved jew or gentile of the OT
And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven. Mt.8:11Nope
they did nit think this at all. Paul did not (Romans 11). Matt and mark did not when they wrote jesus words about the end, and John did not when he wrote revelation
like most people I know who think as you do, they true to take 2 promises God made to abraham and make them into one single promise,
as I showed earlier he actually made three seperate promises to abraham, when interpreting the word concerning those promises, you must take each into context to determine what is being said
Your premise of where you think "replacement" theology came from.
This is the same exact argument that Judaizers use to try and make it seem as if Sunday worship didn't start with the early Christians. They say Sunday was commanded by a pagan ruler and it was meant to worship the sun.
Now you say "replacement" theology came from racist, anti-semite, jew haters.
First of all the term you use is faulty. But you use it on purpose as a "cancelling" term. There has been no replacement. The promises of God have always been to Gods People. Gods People have never been a physical nation. Gods People are a spiritual people.
Romans 9:6-8
6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:
7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.
8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.
Galatians 3:29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Yep we willAnd I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven. Mt.8:11
ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God Lk.13:28
Many read the OT, but never see the Patriarchs and prophets there.
I already asked you previously to show me scripture where it states they were saved. I know they repented once.
As far as I could tell, you ignored that question.
The context of Ephesians 2:11-12 starts in Ephesians 2:1-2. And who was dead in trespasses and sins? The Ephesians who in times past had no hope in leaving off sinning prior to Christ's sacrifice. The context is straightforward.
Once God made a covenant with the nation Israel, Gentiles could not be saved as gentiles in time past.
The only way they could be saved then was to join the nation of Israel.
That is why the gospel of grace given to Paul (Ephesians 3) is very good news for all gentiles now.
YesJew come to salvation the way we all do, through Christ. And more will come when they see Jesus and recognize Him as their Messiah. Romans 11
She is the wayward wifeAnd The Lord will vindicate the saved remnant before the world for the express purpose of proving WHO he his.
It doesn't add up to the nation of Israel being replaced with saved gentiles.
Jesus is going to take up the Kingship of this earth physically and fight for them.
This is HOW the Jews collectively recognise the Messiah.
Romans 11
There are two distinct groups of people in these verses. 1. Israel 2. Gentiles. You CANNOT claim to be both.
"For I do not want you, brothers and sisters, to be uninformed of this mystery—so that you will not be wise in your own estimation—that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in; 26 and so all Israel will be saved; just as it is written:
“The Deliverer will come from Zion,
He will remove ungodliness from Jacob.”
27 “This is My covenant with them,
When I take away their sins.”
Heed Paul's warning. Do not be cut off because of prideful arrogance toward the tree that supports you.
Yes
The blood
No other can save.
The patriarchs were sealed for a future washing in the blood.
Paradise was a holding tank for them until that blood application.
They were justified by faith in something they could not understand.
Washing in blood.
Gods people are as moses wife said "bloody"
There is no redemption without the blood.
All MUST PASS through it.
No "purchase"
That is why the innumerable number of back sliders needed washing in heaven.
"They have washed their robes IN THE BLOOD"
backsliders are covenant rebels with "dirty robes"
Only people with rebellious children can appreciate the lengths God goes to because they are his own family. His heart reaches PAST THE INTENSE HURT.
The hypocrite gets in as dirty.
Gods love is not like ours. It is deep, deep, deep.
The ocean depths dont even do it justice.
That is real good news to the backslider.
It’s amazing, we have quite a few christian jews in my church, many jews are saved, yet as a whole, the nation remains our enemy concerning the gospel, because the nations is still looking for a messiah they crucified,
