I was talking about people's personal photos being @ 300 ppi ;)

For images from the web, I always copy the url and not the image itself. Hmmm, your way is probably faster :D
Oh yea I just upload those full size. I never have many of them anyway. In 12 years I think I only had about 50 pics in my photobucket.

UPDATE:

We took him to the vet first thing this morning (this happened last night, and I still don't know what actually happened). We didn't get much sleep. I slept napped on the couch, since he wanted to be in the living room (probably because our other cat sleeps on the sectional).

The vet looked at his eye and said there was no scratch or cut cornea is intact (thank God, and thank you all for praying), he said there was mainly swelling. So the vet didn't see any scratch or sting mark either. I think one of those cumin bugs (forest bug) sprayed him into the eye. These bugs will spray up to a few inches in defense. Maybe I invoked it into existence here recently when I mentioned that I don't like them. I never even want to mention them again, or cumin for that matter, I'm so pissed. What's the coincidence? His eye was very distinctly smelling like it, he was obviously sprayed and it wasn't a cat spray.

So, he gave us drops for his eye and said he should be a lot better in 3 days and he should be all right and his sight fully restored in time and to keep up the drops until he's fully healed. But to come back if we don't see significant improvement in 3 days.

It's going to suck forcing these drops on him I feel like I'm torturing him  And it's 3x a day!
I am glad to hear it is nothing more serious :D

I have never heard of cumin bugs before!

Three day will go by in no time ;)

Well, not no time heehee :giggle:

But it will be over soon enough :)

Oh! I also changed the face and made some other minor adjustments :D

lol, I like all three of them. More animals is good though. You can explore the picture more. Although it is quite busy it all blends in well (y)

Don't talk about things you hate, guys, it's invoking it. Ugh this was a major spiritual lesson for me. This is why a mature Christian I knew used to say, "don't ever mention the one who's not to be mentioned (the evil one)". But it applies for all you hate. It's probably why a lot of people observed through life "things that you can't bear the most will happen to you" or "you attract what you hate the most" and "never say never".

me either -- not by that name anyway?

@SoulWeaver are you talking about these?

stinkbug_285.jpg
they're usually called 'stinkbugs' -- we call them 'cilantro bugs' sometimes because that's what we think they smell like. my cats tell me they taste nasty; you don't even want that stuff on your paws.
i can see 'cumin bug' too

they move into houses and sheds etc. this time of year as it gets cold, looking for a place to overwinter. they actually can go all winter without eating anything at all, just want to not freeze.

Maybe Kitty got sprayed by a skunk. Do you have skunks there? We don't have them in Aus. I am happy about that :)

We have mice.... they hide in our stove, in our cabinets, it’s nasty to see mice droppings but I’m not about to clean it all out every week. This momma of 2 ain’t got time for that.

so, when I can... I clean it if I’m cooking by chance or just Happen to be “fall cleaning“ that’s when I do it.

Btw... hot cocoa is my “coffee” now

Oh! That bug does look familiar... I guess I have never gotten close enough to one to smell it :giggle:

My natural inclination with many bugs is to keep them as far away from me as possible :ROFL::LOL:

If kitty had been sprayed by a skunk, everyone for miles around would know it ;):giggle:

On the other hand, these days sometimes it's hard to tell if it is skunk, or ganja :LOL:

But, skunks will leave you alone if you leave them alone...

They are nocturnal and very shy but I still see one in daylight every once in a while...

Same as raccoons. They can be out and about any time of day :D Foraging garbage ;)

they only secrete that smell when they're frightened -- with practice we've found that if you're gentle, you can pick them up and evict them without 'raising a stink' :giggle:

typically my house rule is that one can stay, and can have a friend over. i tell them that, explicitly. i warn the first one i find that if i see more than 2 of y'all i'm going to start kicking them out.

Morning all, it is a hot one today at 35 degrees. Managed to still drink my coffee though.

I think there will be pool parties tonight when people return from work

I wish I had a video cam handy because it was funny. Our pool was filled to the top and the little girl Yorkie was barking at my son (in the pool) running to him and boom in the water.

The boy Yorkie was hysterical because he couldn't see the girl, running to me as if trying to tell me something is wrong.

Then he saw the girl and was okay again. He then tried to investigate and carefully placed his front paws on the water and splash in he went, head over heals
