That is one way of doing it lenna but I choose a better way and that is the leading of the Spirit. If something sounds right and I get the OK from the Spirit then I will run with it. If something doesn't sound right and I don't get the OK from the Spirit then I don't run with it. That way I am more likely to get the truth of the matter as the scripture says that he will lead us into all truth. And please note, not some truth.
I have recently read a book written by a missionary in Africa and she recorded miracle after miracle. I have never met this lady or the people that were healed or brought back from the dead, but I know without a shadow of a doubt what she said was the truth because the book was full of the power of the Spirit and there was an anointing on what she said.
Over there many believers have an complete expectation G-d will heal, here we often place man made medicine ahead of who requires, expects and is worthy of 1st place in our lives.

If you believe that God puts our leaders in place and that we need to pray for them, then you need to pray for Joe Biden because Trump left a s*** load of a mess. Trump lost. Period. End of story. The primary reason is: his poor handling of the Corona Virus. Also, his racism and his continuous lying. I never knew where i stood with this man. He will fight to the bitter end and provide you all with conspiracy theories which you will eat up. The truth is that if we had done what Korea did, we would not be where we are now. We could have, but Trump shut down the doctors. Well Joe Biden has a huge job on his hands & I will do what God asks: Pray for him. Also happy to see a non-white woman become our first Vice President. We, women represent 50% of the population so all I can say is it is about time.

That statement shows why true Christians, in obedience to the scripture, do not lean on their own understanding, but in all their ways acknowledge Him, and seek His perfect truth in all things.
Scripture itself teaches the true believer that God raises up and takes down rulers as He continues His plan to restore mankind to Him since the fall, restored as it was in Genesis one and as we see His finished work in Revelation 22.
Only the intentionally lost and disobedient will miss the mark, there will be no excuses.
The separating of His sheep from the adversaries goats is taking place, we see it in this thread and every where at this time.

what should be done is I go to the word of God and ask the Holy Spirit to help open up our understanding through prayer. And confirm from the word of God. Sounding right, or run with it, is not very wise.

The land was theirs long before the Muslims took hold. Israel was a barren wasteland that no one wanted. You can see pics of it during that time.
