Hello old friends. it has been awhile. I have had much occur in my life these past few months. I also notice that many, many cups of coffee have been consumed here in my absence. Far too many for me to deal with all of them. So, please consider ALL your comments/posts LIKED!

I pray you all are well and God has kept you close to Him.

It has taken me much time to get all the bugs worked out with this 'puter and get it back on line, but God is good, and I am here to tell you how much you all mean to me.

Most of my life. Well we said goodbye to our furniture and when we got the new the closing was cancelled the truck was on it's way to TN. As luck and the Lord would have it we were going to throw two dinning room chairs away and one of the mattress sets. Jerry had a camping chair out in the car so we each have a chair to sit on and Melisa bought an air mattress so we have a place to sleep. I have one pot to cook in and one skillet so we can still eat as we were taking our food with us since we have to stay short term somewhere anyway.

We have the process started on the TN home and maybe this is God's way of keeping our short term housing costs down on the TN side. Got to look at the bright side right.

So pray now that there is no damage to our home from this storm and that the closing can be scheduled soon or at least within a week as Jerry quit his job and we are short on funds until our house closes here in Florida.

THAT MUST BE NAPLES FLA? I CAN'T SEE THE STATE, BUT I FOR ONE THINK THEY ARE NUTS TO ALLOW GATERS TO RUN LOOSE RIGHT AMONG THE PEOPLE. I was living in Tampa and gators were allowed in the swamp right behind the apt complex i was in at the time, and one day one of them got ahold of my little dachshund, and I heard the dog crying and I was calling to him as loud as I could when finally he came out from behind the apt, with blood all over him, i was scared to death seeing him, I put him in the car and rushed him to the vet, but it was not as bad as I feared, the gator just had ahold of his tail and the teeth marks were embeded in the tail, he lived, and the vet said it was a miracle, because pets do not normally escape. Why on earth does such a law exist?

That really sucks, glad your pet survived.
Frankly, it looks like a city development problem as well. Someone decided to build residential property there, probably bought the land for cheap, and they just didn't care that the people would be living right next to alligators? I understand the whole Florida has swamps, but that seems extreme. Corruption? :whistle: :unsure:

It has been a rough road but I feel that we are heading in the direction that we feel that God is leading us. "Fear not" says the Lord. That is my daily mantra.
