Paul is answering the charge that grace would abound by sinning more . This is not the normal false teaching we come across today. Do you know of people that think Grace abounds if they sin more ? But clearly some were taking Paul's message of grace and turning it into licence. Meaning they didn't understand grace . People accused Paul of teaching license to sin . We ARE dead to sin . Praise God .Romans 6:1–2 (AV): What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
Part of not sinning is repentance! Should we stop repenting that grace my abound? God forbid
You know that context for a word can change its meaning. In Greek, Hebrew or English.Exodus 32:14
King James Version
14 And the Lord repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people.
' repent of Sins ' is not a biblical verse anywhere . It comes from virtue signalling And lordship salvation. Usually the reformed groups .If someone is not wanting to repent of their sins there is no amount of believing in Jesus that is going to save them. They will die in their sins.
The Gospel to the Gentile, and to the Jew is still...
Repentance toward God and Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ Acts 20:21
I see the word is used to fit whatever doctrine someone ones to push .You know that context for a word can change its meaning. In Greek, Hebrew or English.
In the context of repentance of sin it is a change of mind alright. A remorse and a repudiation of the mind that says I love it and one that says I will hate it and follow after righteousness instead.
Repentance is to hate sin and love righteousness. If you keep loving your sin you will not be saved. One must hate sin and Love Jesus to be saved.

Sticking to Acts 2 .38 . its clear that these law observing, pork abstaining, torah observing Jews needed to change their mind about Jesus . About him no longer being a criminal and deserving to die to their messiah and deliverer ..Thats quite a ' change of mind ' don't you think .You know that context for a word can change its meaning. Your interpretation is illogical and reeks of a wild attempt at changing scriptures to meet some kind of agenda false teaching. Probably one that results in practicing sins without remorse. That is usually how these types of wild interpretations end.Sticking to Acts 2 .38 . its clear that these law observing, pork abstaining, torah observing Jews needed to change their mind about Jesus . its slightly silly to twist this verse and make it about gentiles needing to stop their sinning ect lol . Look how much information Peter is labouring on about the crucified messiah.
It works both ways . I've been around enough Christians who have stumbled , ministries lost , marriages lost ect inspite of their belief in loss of salvation. In fact some of the most steadfast Christians are those that hold to eternal security and understand grace .I have heard about a couple of preachers through the years say that they have not repented in years because all their future sins are already forgiven and if they do something they would feel bad about they just say Thank you Jesus for forgiving me of that already.
Then they got arrested picking up prostitutes. Funny how that works.
lolThe bible is not that hard to understand. Enroll in Bible College if you are that confused.
Peter preached the Gospel to the Jew first. Acts 2. Then he preached the Gospel to the gentiles at Cornelius house. The message did not change.
Of course we can apply the message of Acts 2 to the Gentiles because that same message was delivered to the Gentiles in the order as planned.
Paul understood it.
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
There were not two Gospels, one to the Jew and a different message to the Gentile.
I am not sure what foundation you are attempting to lay to make a point but it is not very effective since everyone is disagreeing with your initial point. Maybe you should just lay out your entire thesis and we might be able to understand what you are trying to communicate.

I thought we were saved by faith . Then we are sealed by the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption? You know that context for a word can change its meaning. In Greek, Hebrew or English.

He says repented AND went . Showing clearly ' repent ' is changing your mind.
Repentence is changing the mind. The actual Greek word means precisely that.
Titus 3:5We can not change our mind our self, so there is a daily thing renewing by washing of the word happening where each day we grow closer and see more change that needs to take place. And repent an try by grace.
Lamentations 3:22–23 (AV): It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.Titus 3:5
“Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;”
if this is ongoing weve got a problem. Notice its past tense ..' SAVED us '
Amen .Then Jesus came and went to the cross and rose again according to the Scriptures.Lamentations 3:22–23 (AV): It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
