Paul is answering the charge that grace would abound by sinning more . This is not the normal false teaching we come across today. Do you know of people that think Grace abounds if they sin more ? But clearly some were taking Paul's message of grace and turning it into licence. Meaning they didn't understand grace . People accused Paul of teaching license to sin . We ARE dead to sin . Praise God .

It works both ways . I've been around enough Christians who have stumbled , ministries lost , marriages lost ect inspite of their belief in loss of salvation. In fact some of the most steadfast Christians are those that hold to eternal security and understand grace .

The problem s that come with lack of assurance and fear that you have already messed up is self evident.

Some of the biggest falls in public ministry have been those that held to loss of salvation .

Peter preached the Gospel to the Jew first. Acts 2. Then he preached the Gospel to the gentiles at Cornelius house. The message did not change.

Of course we can apply the message of Acts 2 to the Gentiles because that same message was delivered to the Gentiles in the order as planned.

Paul understood it.

There were not two Gospels, one to the Jew and a different message to the Gentile.

In Luke 9:6, what gospel was Peter preaching then?

I thought we were saved by faith . Then we are sealed by the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption?

Repentence is changing the mind. The actual Greek word means precisely that.
