The gospel message "evolved", the law and prophets predicted the death, burial and resurrection - even Christ spoke of this death:

Matt 26:2 “You know that after two days the Passover is coming, and the Son of Man is to be handed over for crucifixion.”

Jesus said the disciples knew. Whether that was relayed in the gospel message the disciples went out with we can't specifically say as the gospels are not totally inclusive of all that happened during that time. We can speculate on what is not said, but that's all it will ever be speculation
We are looking back with the knowledge we have after the effect.

Is repentance necessary for the gentile believer to be saved?
Breaking frame from current set of proppersitions , stepping back to consider, change of mind.
As explained by Jesus in Mat 21.29 .

The son who changed his mind and went and did the will of the Father. OK so stop fornicating and live in celibacy until marriage would be an example.

How does repenting of sin everyday make one lost?
Because if salvation was dependent on our repenting to stay saved we'd be lost .You would never be able to track your own sinning.

He says repented AND went . Showing clearly ' repent ' is changing your mind.

The change of mind is the repenting. Then he went . The ' went ' is not the repent .

But the main lesson was that he did the Fathers Will (Which one did the will of the Father) Therefore repentance includes the doing not just the mental intention or mindset or disposition, or frame of reference, etc etc

Sorry but the point of the parable is all about who did the will of the Father and if your repentance does not accomplish the doing then it is of little worth. As a matter of fact it is not repentance.

Repentence is changing the mind. The actual Greek word means precisely that.

Repentance is the will not to sin.

The sacrificial system gave us a preview of Christ, they used the symbolic blood of Christ that Christ fulfilled. They list sins to ask forgiveness for, but also they ask forgiveness for sins they are not aware of.

The blood of bulls and goats remitted sins..Without the shedding of blood there's no forgiveness of sins . The problem they had was the blood of animals could not redeem sins . Only the blood of Christ redeemed sin .

Romans 6:1–2 (AV): What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
Part of not sinning is repentance! Should we stop repenting that grace my abound? God forbid

It includes change of actions in the context of Gospel preaching. When we read "bring forth fruits demonstrating repentance" we learn what the writers were intending to say. Greek or English.

Exodus 32:14

King James Version

14 And the Lord repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people.
