Daniel 9:24-27, Seventy Literal Weeks Explained?

Daniel's 70 weeks are literal 7 day periods, or 490 literal days.

If Daniel meant 490 years he would have written

(Four hundred and ninety years), simple

Daniel had no restrictions in "Writing" exact numerology as seen below.

Below in Daniel 10:2-3 we see just another example of Daniel's literal weeks, as Daniel mourned and fasted for 3 literal weeks or 21 days.

Below in Daniel 9:24-27 we see 70 literal future weeks or 490 days.

When the call/commandment goes out in Jerusalem to build unto the Jewish Meshiach/Messiah that they wait for (They Denied Jesus Christ) this will start the 7 week period.

62 literal weeks will be in building, and Meshiach/Messiah will be cut off by the Antichrist who stops the building.

The 70th literal week will see the antichrist revealed in making a covenant, and in the middle of this literal week he proclaims to be Meshiach/Messiah God to the Jews, and Jesus returned to the apostate church, to start a Millennium on earth.

The 3.5 year tribulation has started.

Hi! I agree! the prophecy scriptures use a lot of symbolisms, so I think that makes it necessary to just guess some at the parts that aren't clear.

Actually, Guessing and assumption is not something that should be done regarding the word of God. We have enough of that going around already. You certainly don't want to be teaching and passing on something that you are not sure of and just guessing at. What should be done, is to continue studying God's word on any given subject, taking in all related scriptures, as well as praying for discernment and understanding. By practicing these, discernment of what is symbolic and what is literal will become clearer.

The Revelation does have much symbolism,do you the believe the two Witnesses will be literal fire breathing dragons, or does this symbolically represent a mouth calling fire down from heaven such as Elijah did?

70 weeks are determined upon Israel and upon Jerusalem to make an end of sins, and bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy who is Jesus, and the only way they can make an end of sins is by accepting Jesus.

The nation of Israel has 70 weeks to be in the truth that Jesus is their Lord and Savior.

69 weeks has passed.

Dan 9:26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

The 69 weeks are in the past when Jesus was on earth for after 62 weeks Messiah was cut off, but not for Himself but to shed His blood to wash away sins.

The weeks are years not actual days so that is 490 years.

Dan 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

There is 1 more week to go which is 7 years and it will be the New Age Christ, antichrist, that will establish that peace treaty in the Middle East in an attempt to get the Jews to go along with his agenda.

The 7 years period is the time God causes all people who do not love Him to follow the antichrist and brings Israel to the truth that Jesus is their Lord and Savior fulfilling the 70 weeks determined upon Israel as a nation to be in the truth.

For the first three and one half years salvation is still available to the world, and all people who do not love God will be given strong delusion to follow the New Age Christ.

The last three and one half years the world persecutes the Christians and then comes the end when the Son shall deliver up the kingdom to the Father and put down all authority, power, and rule.

Act 1:6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?
Act 1:7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.

God will restore the kingdom to the nation of Israel.

Jer 31:35 Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name:
Jer 31:36 If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.

God has not cast away His people but Israel shall never cease to be a nation and the 12 tribes of Israel and the 12 apostles of the Lamb is written in the New Jerusalem.

Israel is the Church and it is Israel all the way from Abraham to Jacob, Israel, to Jesus to the millennial reign to the New Jerusalem, and when a Gentile is saved they are a Jew inward and belong to the commonwealth of Israel.

Eze 39:25 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name;
Eze 39:26 After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them afraid.
Eze 39:27 When I have brought them again from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies' lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations;

God will bring the whole house of Israel back to Israel and leave none of them in the nations anymore, and they will know the LORD their God from that time forward and He will never hide His face from them again which means they will always be in the truth from that time forward.

This is a future prophecy when God restores the kingdom to the Jews for Israel is not in the truth as a nation.

God warns the saints of the new age movement, and their interpretation of the Bible based on the occult, and evolution, and people are still evolving to be spiritual provided by the New Age Christ, and Jesus is not Lord and Savior, but a good teacher and love, and the Christ conscience came upon him, and he evolved to be an ascended master, and believe in no personal God, but honor the God of forces, or the power of nature as their higher power, the evolutionary process, and the New Age Christ is the final teacher, and they believe the Christ conscience will come upon him, and he will evolve to be greater than Jesus, and share this power with all people who follow him.

They will forbid to marry for a man and a woman for population reduction, and command to abstain from meats, reverence of nature, mother earth.

2Ti 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
2Ti 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
2Ti 4:4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

The time will come that they will not want to hear the truth of the Bible but want to hear the Bible according to their own lusts the new age movement.

The new age movement will pave the way for all people who do not love God.

The New Age Christ will establish peace in the Middle East between the Jews and Palestinians, and it will pave the way for all Jews to go back to their land for the Gentile nations will cause it to happen, and the New Age Christ wants them all back on their land but God means it for good towards the Jews.

The New Age Christ will start working in the world at the start of the 7 years period as a great man of peace, and will push the agenda of the new age movement interpretation of religion until the world rebels against God, and then God will end sin on earth.

The 70 weeks are determined upon Israel as a nation to get in the truth that Jesus is their Lord and Savior, which God will send the Jews 2 witnesses to turn them to the truth.

69 weeks have passed and the last week is the time that God causes all people who do not love Him to follow the New Age Christ, and bring the Jews to the truth.

Rom 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
Rom 11:26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
Rom 11:27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

Israel is blinded in part until salvation is no longer available to the Gentiles, which the 70th week could of not come to pass for Israel as a nation is not in the truth, and Israel as a nation will be in the truth at the end of the 70 weeks.

Salvation is still available for the first three and one half years, and the falling away is the condition of the world in response to the Gospel which they stopped the preaching of anything contrary to the new age movement.

The two witnesses are sent to Israel to turn them to the truth which they have power to go against anybody that tries to stop them, and the world cannot touch them.

Israel is protected for the 7 years period from physical attack, but will be attacked after the 7 years period which Jesus comes back with the saints and defeats the world at the battle of Armageddon.

When the world takes the mark of the beast which will a device under the skin that will have information about them including finances for no person can buy or sell without the mark, and will be a tracking device to try to cut down on crime.

Then the fulness of the Gentiles will have come in and Israel as a nation will be in the truth that Jesus is their Lord and Savior, which Jesus said the Jews will not see Him again until they say blessed is He that comes in the name of the Lord.

The New Age Christ will persecute the saints which is why it is the greatest persecution for it is on a world wide scale, and then Jesus will get His saints off the earth.
