We have the Bill of Rights and Freedoms, it does not have the same right to bear arms like in the USA included and the legal language is different.

And please do not believe we are a socialist country or a communist country.

First and foremost "Communism" is an economic ideology.
As well, socialism means a lot of things.... to just use the terms in a blanket fashion paints a simple false picture.
 
I think everyone has gone nuts. We had an election. The results are in. God has given us a new president. For now he has given us a reprieve form a one party government. In two years that can change.

Put politics aside, spend the next two years taking God to your communities.

You let me know when they take down Bay Street.. I have way more knowledge on this than you do.......... so best we leave it there.
And for the record, socialism does not always lead to communism.

Im exceedingly disappointed in you on many fronts. The virus tyranny apologetics being only the oldest.

As a foreigner You have constantly interjected yourself in a very confrontational and negative way with many Americans, discussing the American election, for the American President and Congress.

You have not just been an observer of events as you tried to claim. Similarly as you tried to claim you were a libertarian, while being diametrically opposed to ideals and views that libertarians hold so dearly.

You have repeatedly accused, demeaned and insulted our President and our Nation.

I’d respectfully ask you to refrain from inserting yourself in an already tense, and anxious situation for the country that has done more than the world’s lion’s share of bringing and keeping liberty and freedom to untold millions around the world. Thank you

Canada has strong socialist leaning and is heading there fast under Trudeau. I do know, thanks just the same.

It does, I don't care what you think you know and yes, we'll leave it there. Not interested in arguing over it. Had this discussion plenty of times with people who think socialism is good for a country, it isn't. Not getting into with you. So let's move on.

Well, I've been accused by SK of the same thing. And the point I was trying to make is that I don't believe most Americans are awake and seeing that socialist/communists have their hand on the door. I'm afraid that America is becoming like Canada( who lean hard socialist), and I hate to see that. Now that may offend some Canadians, but I can't help that. There is freedom of speech and religion here in the US that Canada does not have. They have "free healthcare" and I know that Bernie is determined to drag us there. And I can tell story after story of the ills of free healthcare, that isn't free but is paid for with high taxes. I don't want to see America to become Cuba. And that is why I talked about apathy. I don't want to see more abortions, us turning against Israel, not allowed religious freedoms etc. etc. that some other countries have.

There is a big difference between being a nation with social programs and being a socialist nation.

Continuing to call our health care free when it is paid for through our taxes is also misleading.

Free speech is being chipped away at and eroded in America with militant political correctness.

Is that worth $0.02? :giggle:

So as non-American I cannot form my own thoughts on another country's politics... I have thoughts about Russia as well, however that is not under discussion.

There is such thing as study in International Politics/Relations.

So freedom of speech only applies in some ways and in some cases?

Let us be at least consistent.. the speech is good when it is in agreement and derided when it is not.

I actually love the USA and am more saddened than you know by the polarization that is taking place..I am trying to wake you guys up from you over allegiance to one man and take a more objective view of his policies.

And where is the proof.. you did not answer the question it seems.
