It appears that he himself is the Christ
Christ is the Greek word for the Hebrew word 'Messiah' meaning the Annointed.
and his followers were first called Christian's in Antioch?
I'm not asking about His followers. Jesus was also Jewish but it doesn't follow that all His followers were Jewish.

No, just with the purpose of having people think about what they assume or take for granite.
For example, where in Scripture is Jesus called a Christian?
Fair enough, was just wondering if you had some deeper thoughts to share but anyway, as others mentioned, the term wasn't coined until well after His ascension obviously.

You are being silly.......why would Jesus follow HIMSELF???
Enough of this.

If you can't answer, just say so, without getting animated. I take it you are saying "Jesus is not a Christian".

No, nothing deep. I would call Him the promised Jewish Messiah, that's all.

A Christian is a person who believes Jesus and relies upon the Atonement Jesus secured on the cross to pay the penalty for their sins securing for them eternity with God..

Does Jesus need to rely on the Atonement of Jesus on the cross to pay for his sins? Nope Jesus is sinless and thats why His sacrafice on the cross atones for my sins..

So Jesus has no need to become a Christian.. Jesus is LORD..

Christian was an insult that meant "little Christ". So no, Jesus was not a little Christ.

Don't know I've ever met anyone that thought Jesus was a Christian. Nor anyone that takes it for "granite".

I'm not asking about His followers. Jesus was also Jewish but it doesn't follow that all His followers were Jewish.

Yes, all of His first followers were Jews. And there is a reason, Jesus said it Himself, salvation was first to the Jews, then to the Gentiles. When they disobeyed and didn't follow Christ, then the ministry reached out to the Gentiles. But of course you know all this as a mature Christian. So I have to read on and see where you are headed with this. lol

Cross, an interesting question, one that neither one of us
have ever asked ourselves...

i would say the most important thing is that He is our 'example'
and that we bear Spiritual Fruit, as He bore Spiritual Fruit...
He is our Holy Saviour/Messiah, and we whom He has called
know who we are...
