All things that exist are created of and from God. When we repent, believe, and are washed clean of our sins, the holy spirit of God breathes life into we who were formerly dead in our sins.
We then serve God's purpose on earth and for that he prepares us for every good deed. The holy spirit leads us in his will.
I've found it becomes easier as we venture in our walk with Christ to hear the holy spirit guide us. We were so use to following our own thoughts before. It is a meditation of sorts to differentiate between our thoughts and the wisdom of holy spirit God.

My experience in knowing that difference is, when I follow my own thoughts things don't turn out as well as they should have at times. Not always though. When I cast aside my thoughts and follow the leading of holy spirit that at times can be rather insistent, all goes very well.

We're all unique and each one has a different purpose in God's plan. That's why we're to love one another I think. Because we're all here serving one God who has different intentions for each of us. And yet those intentions serve God and his kingdom making all the church in this together to make a better world. Or at least make things better where we find ourselves in the world.

Acts 1.8 is the apostles. sins are dealt with at the cross not after we believe .

It is so amazing to me when the Holy Spirit gives me a new understanding of scripture, or tells me something of Himself as I pray.

I think, though, that we need to be very careful of not taking a fleshly though we have as coming from the Holy Spirit as so often happens and can be done so easily. The Holy Spirit is God, and God never has a thought in opposition to scripture, nor does the Spirit add to scripture. We must check everything with scripture.

maybe you are not understanding what I am saying or I am not explaining myself either way , from your previous questions; where you asked me after I made this statement:

"They fully understood Jesus' words of the HIS earthly Ministry when they were in the presence of the Risen Lord. FYI they had no New Testament but they did know more about what was fulfilled in the Old Testament like Isaiah 53, Pslams 22, Joel 2, and many many more. They remember that Jesus said HE was to die and three days later rise again. Yes, they did before the writing of Matthew chapter 27.

  3. John 2:17
  4. John 2:22
  5. John 12:16
  6. Acts 11:1

I have shown you already were in the Old Testament where Jesus had fulfilled in His death, burial, and resurrection.

Psalms 22 on the Cross Jesus quoted verse 1 " My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? " speaking of the suffering Messiah in that whole chapter of Psalms 22.

This all started because I said that Jesus gave the apostles certain instructions to them. Which you disagreed saying it was also for us also. Post #14 kinda summed up what I was saying .

yes, which I all scripture is given for Instruction, reproof and correction, and 2 Tim 3: 16 says. and we have moved very much past that post. I am not going to repeat the overwhelming proof that was already given in context to an application of The Word of God in the life of the believer that many have also provided. I tell you what. Were done Ok.
