The point of this thread WAS Lordship salvation.......I see a lot of it among members here.
Sliding into a works salvation.

Like i said I do not equate ' election ' ' elect ' to mean anything other than Jesus , Jews, service and purpose . Never ' to be saved ' . Predestination however and being sealed by the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption is the basis for my eternal security.

Lord = Kurios . So a person has to believe Jesus is who he said he was . ' before abraham was, I AM .

Tradition ? No the bible. 1 cor 1.21 . Eph 1.12 -13 . Rom 10.9 . Eph 2.8and 9 .

The majority of people refuse to believe the truth so as to be saved , so believing in Jesus is enough. let's not add anything more than what is already being rejected by some . The Holy Spirit is reproving the world of their sin ( singular ) of not Believing in Jesus. Let's not add virtue signalling and legalism to the work of the Holy Spirit and the Gospel.

That's not my argument. Calvinism like Catholicism speaks a great deal about ' historical christianity ' and The ECF this and The ECF said that ..I find some interesting but I do not hold it to anything authority .

Let us not work to mislead the faithful by falsifying the reaching of Christ in that manner you've employed yet again.
