Your guesstimate is wrong. I have read one of his books and nothing else. Whereas I have read nearly all of Chuck Colson's books and the books of Derek Prince.
Well, you seem very certain that signs and wonders are still for today, and he is well known for teaching that too.

Who is "he?" The conversation has included Bill Johnson, Chuck Colson, and Derek Prince.

I am wondering if you read what I said which was that I have only read ONE of Bill Johnson's books. I do not make a judgment on reading one book. I need to see a pattern as only one book will not give me that so what Bill Johnson believes and does are not part of my understanding of scripture.

Derek Prince is a man who KNOWS that signs and wonders are operating today so his books which I have read and who I have heard speak on the topic at my church is much more authoritative to me.

And I have read a dozen other authors who KNOW that signs and wonders operate today and I have just finished a book written by a missionary in Burundi that is full of signs and wonders as people were healed through the name of Jesus and people were raised from the dead.

So, Bill Johnson is just a drop in the ocean when it comes to that topic. However I would not rubbish has credentials, not when you see a young man with only one hand in a meeting, and when prayed for by Bill, his missing hand grows back.

Ditto. And no it is not my opinion. It is the result of years of study that I embarked on to find out if there was actually a bible believing church as the evidence suggested there wasn't.

However, you can prove me wrong which I am happy for you to do. All you have to do is provide some names of Bible-believing churches so that I can study them and see what actually constitutes a bible believing church in your opinion. Unless you do that, you are all hot air.
I am not needing to prove you wrong I prefer to leave to your own prideful self.

Any denomination is not a bible believing church because you can't find denominations in the bible. You will have to give me the name of specific churches.
That depends on what you call a denomination.
None of the confessional orthodox churches are "denominations" any more than the 23 churches in 6 regions mentioned through out the new testament.

I would run, and fast too, where Johnson is concerned.

as for Derek Prince, he has passed on, but left behind a pretty solid legacy of biblical truth

those who know, know, and those who dissent do not know

I have seen and experienced enough in my life to 'know' :)

you don't chase the experience or the gifts. always the One who is the Way, the Truth and the Life

I like listening to Joseph Prince
I am beginning to get more uncomfortable with his teaching.

He is now emphasising more on signs and wonders, using the 4 gospels and ot, instead of sticking to Pauline scriptures, which he used to do a lot more in the past

I seem to prefer his older messages too.

never heard of it so if you would like to expound on it for all of us to read that would be helpful.

What is a confessional orthodox church? And there are no 23 churches in six regions in the New Testament. Every church was recognized as the church in Corinth; the church in Ephesus; The church in Philidelphia. The church was always recognized by where it was at. At least they are in my bible.

Sorry you disagree with the truth, Angela.
