You keep quoting that verse . But its for those in christ , not unbelievers. We are told to believe in him, but not for the cause of getting eternal life.
2 Tim 2:13, For if they believe not, yet he abideth faithful, he cannot deny himself.

That's a private interpretation.Read the scripture again. It says that the comforter is the Holy Ghost, which is the Holy Spirit, functioning as a revelator, not as a quickening to life.
6But without faith it is impossible to please him:If people can say my posts sound Calvinistic, I can say that some people’s posts sound like people think that we give God the power or authority to save us.
Not speaking of you personally
Faith is not something that earns points with God. We are granted the right to believe by God.
The faith that pleases God pleases Him because the righteousness of the Son who pleased and pleases the Father is imputed to us.
I will boast in what Christ has done...and that alone!
The verse says our faith is counted for righteousness. Is it our faith that is righteous or is Christ’s righteousness and perfect obedience imputed to us when we believe?
Thats actually an interesting study. We definitely know that its our faith is counted for righteousness."Is it our faith that is righteous or is Christ’s righteousness and perfect obedience imputed to us when we believe?
There's no ' called ' by the Spirit of God in Ephesians 1.4I was called by the Spirit of God. To be holy and blameless before Him in love- relationship FIRST. Service secondly.
6But without faith it is impossible to please him:
There's no ' called ' by the Spirit of God in Ephesians 1.4

Our faith has NO VALUE of itself. It is Christ that gives it value.
Where is that in scripture?

well what happened to 'whosoever will'?
the scripture does NOT state whosoever will can be chosen
smh
maybe you now have me on ignore but this error is one of a good number pointed out to you yesterday and the reason people kept questioning what exactly it is you believe
Faith is faith
It is not a novel word used in scripture... it is not a different spiritual level.
The difference is faith IN Jesus Christ
I have not once denied the fact that “whosoever will may believe”. In fact, I have stated that same fact several times. You think my post denies whosoever will, because you are holding to a false dichotomy of either unconditional election to salvation or no election to salvation. That is a false dichotomy, because those are not the only two possibilities.
You obviously have not done any meaningful study on the words eklektos or eklego or proginosko. This seems to be the case with many.
Ever heard of elect according to the foreknowledge of God?
