That is the THIRD TEMPLE, and here is the FOURTH TEMPLE.

During this Church age, we Christians are the Temple of God, spiritually.
The Jews will not and cannot build a new Temple. The Haredi Jews do not want it and the majority of Israelis are atheist's and oppose it. Jeremiah 12:14 is one of the many prophecies that tell how Jewish Israel will soon be gone and all of the holy Land will then be re-occupied by faithful Christians. I doubt many Christians would want to move to a warzone. I have never heard anyone teach this before you, no disrespect.

And if we are the temple of God spiritually, which I agree, Ezekiel 40-48 sounds very unspiritual, it mentions animal sacrifices, sin offerings, exact measurements etc. So clearly that is a REAL physical temple being spoken about, instead of a spiritual one? Or am I missing something?

Yes, it will be the third and final Temple dedicated to God, all as detailed in Ezekiel 40 to 46. Built before the Great Trib.

So there is a QOUTE from the Rabbi Hillel Weiss, spokesperson for the SANHEDRIN, speaking of the Second Temple Sacrifices, said ". . . most were from plants grown around Israel.” So even if they are convinced by the TWO WITNESSES that JESUS IS THEIR MESSIAH, which is the final BLOOD SACRIFICE, they will still need to build the Temple for the WAVE OFFERING, etc. So the TEMPLE WILL BE BUILT, because the major part of the purpose for the TEMPLE, is other things besides blood, that go on in the TEMPLE. That above quote is in my post, #2,113 .

The law / Torah / Pentateuch / God's commandments have never been abolished and therefor cannot be reinstituted. It is however under the new covenant of Jesus the Messiah / Yeshua ha'Mashiach's atonement offering now written on our hearts (we now want to obey God's commandments as his free sons and daughters) and not on tablets of stone anymore (when God's commandments were not yet written on our hearts).

The atonement offering of Yeshua ha'Mashiach / Jesus the Messiah allowed God's covenant people to enter into a new covenant with God, after we have broken God's old covenant.

Some have reasoned that the offerings described in Ezekiel 46, in the Holy of Holies, where God's Shekinah will dwell among us, will point back as remembrances for what Yeshua ha'Mashiach / Jesus the Messiah did for our salvation on the cross.

Yes, that is true, but that later Temple, will be the Millennial TEMPLE, and some say it could be BUILT by Christ Himself. There is a possibility that the THIRD TEMPLE, maybe erected on the WRONG LOCATION, which GOD may approve of. The so-called Temple Mount is the WRONG LOCATION, makes sense because the Antichrist will sit in the Holy of Holies. I have provided ample Proof that the correct located is the Southern end of the OPHEL to the western corner, of ANCIENT JERUSALEM, (which was nicknamed "CITY OF DAVID"). Ancient Jerusalem was NEVER on the Higher Hill which came MUCH LATER, when it was REBUILT after the ROMANS DESTROYED IT IN 70 A.D. Here is a drawing that will give you the Perspective:



Like I said, I have Provided AMPLE proof that this is this location is the Correct Location of the TEMPLE MOUNT. When the Romans took over Jerusalem, they Built Fortress Antonia on MOUNT MORIAH RIDGE. SO Mount Moriah is the correct location, but it was a ridge that ran from north of the Dome of the Rock, and ran all the way south to the Southern most tip of THIS Ancient Jerusalem, Now called the City of David. AND the Original Mount Zion (a single flat top bedrock peak, right were this TEMPLE is Pictured) is where Ornan the Jebusite had his bedrock Threshing Floor, that King David Bought from the Jebusite. ALL the PROOF you NEED, is in this Study.

When the Romans took over they MOVED the 10th Roman Legion on top of the empty HIGHER HILL to the North. A Roman Legion were known to have 6000 Soldiers, and 4000 Support Staff, and would have looked something like this:

The only two bad errors or discrepancies I see, is the East Gate is in the wrong location, as Josephus said it was directly in like with the other gate to the TEMPLE, as he could see the Curtain of the Holy of Holies when all the gates were open, when he was standing in the East Gate. The Court of the Gentiles is TOO small also. That tall tower in the southeast corner of the Fortress Antonia, was so that a guard in that tower, could see into all the courts of the TEMPLE, to head off any TROUBLE BREWING. Animal sacrifice sin offerings could never in themselves forgive sin before a righteous God. It is not payment in full - like for like.

The act of sacrificing the animal is/was/will be bringing us to remembrance of how Yeshua ha'Mashiach's / Jesus the Messiah's death and resurrection, since time beginning until eternity that never ends, is, was, and will be paying for all of the sins of the children of a righteous God - his covenant people.

The act of sacrificing the animal was pointing forward to Yeshua ha'Mashiach's / Jesus the Messiah's offering before his death and resurrection, and is, and will be pointing backward to Yeshua ha'Mashiach's / Jesus the Messiah's offering following his death and resurrection.
