They are right here. Just because they don't dance around in broad daylight and entertain us does not mean they are not here. Same with ministering angels. Nothing spooky to be afraid about, but we must realize that there are things our eyes cannot see.
It's probably for the best. Imagine if we saw all that evil visually. Would probably be enough to send anyone into a mental asylum.

My guess is that the only Christians that have this world view of not hearing about demons being cast out of people today like they were in the bible do not fellowship with believers who believe the scriptures that believers will cast out demons and therefore cast out demons.

I suggest attending and Assemblies of God Church for a year and you will discover that all of the signs and spiritual gifts that occurred in the New Testament 1st Century church, healing, speaking in tongues, casting out devils do continue to occur among those that believe these scriptures.

When you fellowship with those who do not believe they happen today then of course they will not attempt to cast out a demon or even recognize one when it shows up. They will say that person is mental and leave them in that condition.

Demons are not mortal, the same demons that were teaching false doctrines in the first century are still around also. That is why Jesus called it the doctrine of Balaam and Jezebel, and the leaven of the Pharisees. We should be able to recognize it when we hear it even if it is disguised under new names, the same demons are behind it.

The reason you don't see it is because the people you are around or who are in your world of influence do not believe it. I have seen it for years in the Assemblies of God.

A favorite argument of those who do not believe in healing for today say that if it were real people would be going to the hospitals. They do. People who believe in healing in the name of Jesus go to hospitals all over this world and people in hospitals are healed every month as a result. Documented miracles happen and Doctors give glory to God. But you won't hear about it on the news because people don't believe. However, go visit the churches who have hospital visitation ministries and your world view will change from "why don't they go to hospitals" to "oh.. my bad.. they do"
I think most Christians believe God heals today . But the question is ,are there ' healers ' today. People with the gift of healing like we see with the Apostles . I would say not .

Fortunately in my church we see it happen frequently. I have prayed for cancer victims who were healed. But just like Peter when the lame man was healed, we tell people that we do not have some great power, it is faith in Jesus Name that heals the sick. This was true in the book of Acts and it is still true because the book Acts of the Holy Ghost is an ongoing book. The Holy Spirit does not stop working for believers just because others don't believe it is real. Praise God for that.

I witnes more than 3 demon possessed, but the doctor may say it is depression because science not able to prove if there is demon.
Demon may not poses in the sense of make people crazy, but demon work around us

John 10

8 All who have come before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep have not listened to them. 9 I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved.[a] They will come in and go out, and find pasture. 10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

I believe Jesus talk about what demon do to us in this verses.
From what is said about the symptoms about demon possession in people, it is not that they are "crazy", but they accept evil in their life as the right way to live. All the people told about had accepted something evil as right for them before they became possessed.

This makes a good point.
Example: These demons inspired parents to sacrifice their children to the power of fertility. Then it took the form of religious ritual directed to the demon as a god. Today those same demons deceive us into sacrificing our children to the power of fertility. Those same demons were at work at the dawn of history in the first family. A virgin would give birth to a savior. They inspired people to kill virgin's. Many ancient cultures did that. It' IS carried out in a different way today. Same hates same desires same demons.

I witness real crazy lady. My good friend was movebto pantecosta, I myself was Mennonite like him before, and he have a gift to pray for sick, demon possessed etc.
One day I want to see what is look like, and I go with him. I witness how scary was, when we come, she said, she is jesus from Nazareth, she didn't afraid of us etc.
When we sang there is power in the blood of Jesus for awhile, the bad where she lay vibrate, that was the first time I experience how the devil have power. That happen for some time. Than my friend start say in the name of Jesus go, and he lay hand on her head, the head stay still, but the rest of her body make movement like snake, it was scary. Than my friend move his hand from her head all the way to her toe and say, in the name of Jesus go.
That make that lady conscious and she said, I am thirsty and she able to answer what we ask, like normal person.

Anyone who works for the Lord in Africa or Haiti where people believe in Voodoo will tell you that demons are real, they are here, and they are frightening. \\

It seems to me that through the media making it so entertaining to listen to ways of the flesh so hours a day are spent with this as our mental food the demons are given power in our lives and we are living with demons in the last days, as scripture tells us will happen.

We each need to be part of the remnant who stays loyal to the Lord.

Or maybe Christ's victory over death in The Resurrection was such that their power was stripped. May be Calvin is wrong and Jesus did die for the sins of the whole world (not as such that every one received salvation particularly but that the power that Satan has over the world is stripped away, and humans can receive salvation) and demons have no actual power over humans anymore, so all they do is tempt and manipulate. Except maybe those who forfeit their will to demons via some fo of witch craft.

The veil is getting thinner, it is getting easier to receive good results from prayer for the remnant who have received and walk in the Spirit.

Hi Webers.Home! There are some profound changes happening to human life in Genesis huh? They are consequences of the bodies loss of immortality. God didn't intend for the human body to die. It was a obvious sign of distinction between man and the other animals. Because their bodies die There is a law that bodies that die are obedient to. The law of survival. Adam's body obeyed Adam's will unobstructed by a law of the flesh. His body enjoyed the immortality of his soul. The human body lost immortality and what made it different from all other animal flesh. The law of survival awakened in our flesh. All the involuntary movements of the body associated with survival began to move ADam and Eves bodies. The body informed them of their fallen state. The movements are embarrassing too and compelled them to cover their bodies. God warned us of these consequences. Our earthly lives weren't meant to end in death. Our earthly lives were meant to end in a lifting up body and soul without suffering separation from our children. God didn't have to initiate these things they are the consequences of the tragic transition from immortal life to life that ends in death.
From your post, can we then say that:

1. God never made man "flesh" as commonly believed
2. Flesh is an offshoot of man as a result of sin
3. if God did not intend the body to die, it is then wrong to say that death is inevitable
4 the long held interpretation of Genesis chapter 1 and 2 as regards to the nature of man is faulty

We can see many demons in the New Testament. Sometimes even many of them in one human. Wherever Jesus or his discplices went, demons upon demons.

In our life (Europe) - none. Nobody ever heard of any. Their existence went to fairy tale category. Yes, some people claim it, but you know, some people even claim to be abducted by people from another galaxy. The fact is that demons are not visible in our daily, common life like they were before.

I can think about these plausible solutions:
a) they are gone
- the work of Christ, the spread of Christianity, monotheism pushed them out of Christian and post-Christian world

b) they went into hide
- they do not want to be indentified and thrown out by Christians, so they try to "behave" or mask themeselves as mental illness

c) they need some special conditions to exist in
- pagan rituals, spiritism, something that may exist rather in other parts of the world than in Europe
- maybe they even need a faith in them to have any power?

d) they are dying in time
- well, this one is weird, because they are spirits, but still its a possibility that they somehow decompose without a body

e) they are still the same and active as before, but humanity got too high in numbers
- if there is like lets say million of demons, they are very visible when there is 100 million population of people in the world, but can be quite unnoticable when there is 8 billion of people

Any better ideas?
It seems we all are busy looking at the devil outside of us. It is not only when someone is possessed that the devil manifests itself. What about the devil inside of us?. just one instance:

It is written, the devil is a liar and the father of it. So, when we lie for advantage in whatever form, or indulge in any inordinate thought or pleasure, we are reflecting the kingdom of satan. It is the devil manifesting itself and defiling us. Jesus says, it is the things that come out of us that defiles us for out of the mouth proceeds evil thoughts, murders, adultery, greed racism, favoritism, thefts, blasphemies, etc . These are acts of the devil being reflected through our thoughts and actions.

As Eve was deceived through the subtlety of Satan, Satan and its cohorts are still roaming about today in various forms as master masqueraders. We do not need to look far to see them. They are even prevalent in our churches of today.

Jesus told the Pharisees that they are the children of their father the devil not because they were showing signs of being physically possessed by the devil but because of their wicked thoughts and deeds.

Yes the word of God would be most helpful.
The nature of the Devil is very clear. we read in Job 1:7 he is looking for one as God suggested to consider His servant Job. Nothing in the Job account says Job knew it was the devil doing this to him. Those around Job told him to admit you sinned and die because God was doing this to him.

Secondly Jesus clearly had more experience in dealing with demon than any other in the New Testament. Also I think it is an opinion one actually saw the demon but what we see is the effects of the demon when they have taken over a person. The biggest reason why those do not see the manifestation of demons is because many people are demonized and have a darken heart. God placed an evil spirit on Saul yet nothing suggest it was seen . Sauls action were that of evil. Therefore the evil produces things that are ungodly. Where in contrast the Holy Spirit produces that which is godly.

if the devil is inside of a christian they are not christian. Light cannot Fellowship with darkness period. The devil can attack and oppress a christian but he cannot possess a christian because The Spirit of God is in him.

Demons are kicking humans rear ends all over the world.

Causing sickness, disease, birth defects, and are part of the curse.
They manifest when the Holy Spirit shows up.
Dead churches and believers have zero effect on them.
