How did God die for our sins, if God cannot die?

Your right the human born If
Mary did Not predate adam
but the Divine spirit that became part of that human body did And made it a living human did

Apart from that Devine nature which entered. the body would have been born dead with no spirit

Yes.

Jesus is 'fully human and fully divine', however.

Let's ascribe Jesus' humanity the value of 5. And we shall ascribe the value of his divinity as 7.

Humanity = 5
Divinity = 7

5+7=12

Jesus=12

Does this make it easier to understand?

Ok so lets start on the first square again. I said Jesus was fully God and fully human. No one said he was the "first" human. Remember the words to the Christmas carol? Second Adam, from above. Now, we move on to the trinity. One God, three persons Father, Son, Holy Ghost. Jesus was incarnated into human form. But in the beginning He was there. Several people have used verses to show this. So Jesus as God was before Adam as God, not as a human man. Read this slowly and ask me if you have more questions. No one is trying to target you if you truly don't understand we will make it clear.

Anyway .. I generally get your point about the humanity of Jesus occurring when he came to earth and not before, that is biblical and logical.
I think there is some miscommunication going on.

That is not possible as Jesus' nature is fully human and fully divine. He, as a human by definition cannot predate the first human.

What is logically unsound is you pretending to accept the Divinity of Jesus, but then claiming He could not predate Adam.

As God, Jesus is eternal. Logically, Jesus predates all of creation.

You have multiple times said, Jesus is human, and left off Him being divine. Then you agree He is divine also, but reject His predating Adam. You make no sense. As Divine Creator, Jesus predates Adam. You cannot logically get around that, no matter how hard you try.

You appear to understand me correctly.

I don't know how I could possibly be clearer.

Jesus cannot exist in non-human. Jesus is fully human.

Jesus is human. Jesus is divine. Jesus does not predate Adam as Adam is the first human. What do you have trouble understanding? 🤷‍♀️
 
Magnets has claimed I have said that Jesus is 'human, only'. I believe she told a lie. Anyone reading this is welcome to prove her correct in her claim.

I agree and scripture agrees God took on flesh and Jesus as a human was not in Heaven prior to His entering earth in time.


in John 1:14 we read, “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.” This verse clearly declares, in context, that the Son became flesh at the time of his incarnation.

Again, in Philippians 2:5–7 we read, “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men.” The clear statement is that he “took the form of a bondservant,” that is, he came in human flesh.

Your position logically denies the eternal nature of God, is what you have trouble understanding.

As a Divine eternal Being, Jesus predates His creation, which includes Adam.

Perhaps to clarify... the person Jesus (human) cannot exist in a non-human form.

Agree makes sense.
