I don't know why my post causes opposition, or why you claim that I don't divide the Word, or that I am not realizing things. I'm really not interested to fight Scripture against Scripture, is all.
I merely observed that I wasn't saved yet in the time what I wasn't surrendering all.

Faith comes through hearing the Word of God.
We were saved by grace through faith.
Unless one is born again, they will not see the Kingdom of God.
Those who are fit for the Kingdom do not look back.
The one who loves anything more than Him is not worthy of Him.
All truths.
Wanting to weigh one truth over another and give more importance to certain selected truths and send other truths into the back seat is how all denominations are created. Baptists focus on baptism, Pentecostals focus on gifts, Adventist focuses on the sabbath, and so on. Everybody has something they choose to focus on. I think it's a trap. I really try to stay away from such to the best of my ability, because I believe the whole of the Word should be considered equally.
What we surrender is our dead works.

You already denied the Atonement of the LORD Jesus Christ saves in your first post.. Don't try and weasel your way out of it now.. You are a false believer and NO one should take heed of anything you proclaim about salvation.. You are still denying the truth..
So you were saved 2000 years ago were you ?

Forcing us to see the Truth for what it is.
Not how it works, my friend.

Romans
1:19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed [it] unto them.
1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, [even] his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

Salvation is not I give in order to receive.
It is a gift.
To be fair to @oyster67 it is an exchange.

You have to drop all the junk you are holding on to in order to receive Gods Gifts.

In this way we aren't giving God anything, just like YOU say, but we are giving up things, just like oyster said...

So I think you both are right. If that's ok...?

That's showing that God Exists.

No one has an excuse for denying the existence of God.

That's not showing the Truth of Salvation and the vail over the minds of those who have not come to Christ.

Thank you. We must be thankful for the things we do agree upon. Must not bite and devour one another.

God talked to me for many years before I was saved.
Sentences by other Christians truly interest me. It leaves me with so many questions like, did you actually hear God’s voice? How did God talk to you? I hear those words and wonder if God even hears my prayers because as near as I can tell God has never spoken to me in a voice other than what I know as my own voice, my own thoughts. Others claim God speaks to them, how do they know it’s God? What are they actually hearing? I’m very interested in that conversation.

“Ask and ye shall receive, seek and ye shall find.”

Jesus saves.
We surrender our "knowledge" in order to gain Knowledge of God.

We surrender our "wisdom" in order to gain Wisdom from God.

We surrender our "working at righteousness" in order to gain Gods Righteousness.

All the things that make us think we are more than we really are, before God.

There are lots of things that we hold on to that God has better for us. I think that is why the Lord Jesus says we must come to Him as a child.

Where do thoughts come from?

Have you ever wondered?

Impressions, pictures in your mind.... Where do they come from? Are they all just imagination, generated from yourself? Or maybe not?

I am referencing at the point of conversion.
Jesus did not mention any of those to Nicodemus.
We come as a child .. a child does not have long held beliefs like the Pharisees.

God speaks to us in many ways. He has testified of his existence through creation itself. He has testified of His love for us by sending His only begotten Son. On a more personal level, He gives us the Comforter when we are born again. To the one who has not fully surrendered mind, body and soul to Him, much of this will not sound sensible. We must come by faith (something you CAN do before you are born again) and we must then live by faith afterwards. If God just came down and shouted in our faces, we would not need to live by faith. Come to Jesus today. He will not disappoint. He loves you, He made you, He has a wonderful plans for you.

Hebrews
11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
11:2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.
11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
11:4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.
11:5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
11:6 But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Some men believe in TULIPs. They believe that they were born into some elite, exclusive, master class. We call these men Hypercalvinists. They carefully clip and paste together their own false doctrines from mutilated copies of God's Holy Word.
right. there have been numerous threads on the subject right in this forum

not really sure who you are referring to?

the op (although I disagree he has proper understanding) is not a Calvinist

There are several right here on this page. They are not hiding it. I am only concerned about Hypercalvinism (aka TULIP).

Well i am not a Calvinist..

This is much more important then calvinism, This is about a core doctrine of salvational importence.. The Atonement of the LORD Jesus Christ and how it secures our salvation.. Denying the Atonement of Jesus saves is a door to the eternal lake of fire..
@Adstar
Has he actually denied the Atonement of Christ ?

The Atonement makes Salvation available to whosever is willing to come to Jesus. Some believe that Salvation is only available to a select few. This is what Calvinism teaches.

Did I say he was?

Why can't you be...

Nice to me?

I am sorry sir , did not mean to across unfriendly...
I asked @Adstar a question about his post , nothing mentioned about Calvin , Calvin seems to be brought into so many post , even to those who do not know much of what he taught , so maybe I became a bit short because you seemed to fit this in answering my post...
I am Gods daughter by the way , not through Calvins way , but through my Lord Jesus Christ my Savior...
