There you go. The Spirit convinces through the Word He inspired.
That power is the power of the Spirit who inspired and illuminates the word just as the Word was confirmed by the Spirit. I think Hebrews 2:2 or 2:3.
I just believe that faith is our response to God’s call while others seem to think that God’s call is His response to our faith
Man centered and upside down.
Some people respond positively to God’s call and some reject. I do not know why it is so. It has always been a mystery.
In order for one to exhibit faith, one must hear the word of God...respond. Hebrews 11 is full of OT saints hearing God's word and their response in faith to what God had told them.
Remember, biblically, there is a calling unto salvation and a calling of the saved unto vocation. And there is man calling upon the Lord for salvation.
Me thinks someone is just going for a ride now . I think we've got your number s high for you on this thread . But your confused on Election and can't see the wood for the trees on this topic. God bless .

I don’t care one lick about how many replies this thread gets or how many times I reply.
I prefer to only need to state the truth once. But whatever comes out in the wash is fine.
So why all this nonsense about a ' choosing ' before people existed ? in Calvinism I can understand it ,because God only sends irresistible Awakenkng dust on the frozen chosen . But if you don't believe in that , what purpose does your version of ' choosing ' before we existed do or serve ?
