In Romans 8:23 what is the redemption of the body referred to?

23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
We’ve already answered this numerous times. The fact that there is an aspect of election that is yet future, does not negate that there is a present aspect also.

For example, what is the point of Acts 13:33? Compare to Romans 1:4.

I have just told you which "ISRAEL" God is promising the land of Canaan to, and it is the Israel that is made up of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation, it is not just the nation of Israel. All Israel is not of Israel.
I agree 100%

These dispensational Zionist want to remove Romans 9:6-8 from the holy bible don't they?

The scripture clearly teaches Jews of the flesh, aren't the children of God, how much more direct does it need to be?

Romans 9:6-8KJV
6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:
7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.
8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

Afraid ?
This is simply taking what the bible says as to what the Adoption IS . Its the whole point of what we are predestined to AFTER we believe.
Glorification . The Adoption. its Pretty major if the entire creation is waiting for it . Its important to teach how we are saved , don't you think ?
Eternal security and assurance rests on our Predestination to Adoption. Paul writes a whole chapter on it to comfort and assure the certain future redemption/ glorification for those suffering.
Ephesians 1:3-7KJV
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

yet 2 Thessalonians 2:13-14 days we were chosen for salvation and Galatians 4:4-7 says we are sons of God WITHIN THE CONTEXT of election, and Paul said those who are in the flesh cannot be subject to the Law of God and cannot please God in the flesh. And also Paul said “ in my flesh there is no good thing”. That’s depravity. Not in the Calvinist sense, but in the Biblical sense.
Saved we cannot please God ' in the flesh ' either .

Just because it can support them does not mean it does. It’s not a Calvinist view its biblical
Let's stick to the discussion and leave the personal attacks to the playground please .

Romans 8: 16. Sonship via Adoption.
And states that we are already sons In context of adoption. See preceding verses.
1 john 12 12But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
We become sons through regeneration not through the western adoption system. ( lol ) .
Despite years of calvinistic seminaries , scholars, commentaries and theologians telling us .
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 1 Peter 1.3

Yeah you keep saying that the adoption is what makes us sons . But the bible says the Holy Spirit confirms that we are sons . The new birth is HOW we BECOME sons . John 1.12.

Gentiles believers are also Elect and Chosen.
Welcome to the forums! You will quickly find out that over here we got a bunch of folks who buy the hyper-dispensational gimmick hook line and kitchen sink. So its all about the jews the jews the jews.

The only parts of the Bible that apply to you according to them is Romans to Philemon. But hey, even in them chapters you gotta be careful cause, its still about the jews at the end of the day. If its something uncomfortable or hard, its probably to the Jews. If its about dying for your faith or resisting sin to the bloody end, yeah its to the Jews, you can bet your bottom dollar. If its about spiritual blessings (no repentance of course, that would be works salvation and thats to the... you guessed it, jews) or our position in Christ then its for the gentiles.

Ironically, these people are usually the biggest friends of Israel (the state) and love to talk about "replacement theology" but they are the ones making up multiple plans of salvation for different people, based on ethnicity. Gotta love irony!

Lies lies lies. Abraham wasn't a Jew. No one was an Israelite until Jacob existed. Noah was a gentile man. So no, lies lies lies.

I believe Abraham became a Jew in Genesis 17, yes? Circumcision?
