your trying to equate this with adoption. This is the HS sealing us not adopting us.
Again who is this so serious to you. It does not support Calvinism so why are you so afraid?
I'm not equating ..The Holy Spirit seals until when ? The day OF redemption. ( Eph 4 30 .) The Holy Spirit (SPIRIT OF ADOPTION) we recieve as the guarantee until Rom 8 .23 .

This is simply taking what the bible says as to what the Adoption IS . Its the whole point of what we are predestined to AFTER we believe.
Glorification . The Adoption. its Pretty major if the entire creation is waiting for it . Its important to teach how we are saved , don't you think ?
Eternal security and assurance rests on our Predestination to Adoption. Paul writes a whole chapter on it to comfort and assure the certain future redemption/ glorification for those suffering.
Calvinsm/ Arminsim has the error of the Adoption being at conversion .Why? because of the same error of election to salvation . Because of the same error on Total depravity.

Because its not biblical . I know I became a son through the new birth . From this im not confused about predestination or election . I know I'm predestined now to the Adoption which is the Rom 8.23 . Thats my eternal security and assurance. Sealed by the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption.
Also describing the future adoption, the redemption of the body. As Romans states, we are predestinated to this, to be conformed to the image of his Son.
Philippians 3:21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

And states that we are already sons In context of adoption. See preceding verses.

In Romans 8:23 what is the redemption of the body referred to?
23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
yet 2 Thessalonians 2:13-14 days we were chosen for salvation and Galatians 4:4-7 says we are sons of God WITHIN THE CONTEXT of election, and Paul said those who are in the flesh cannot be subject to the Law of God and cannot please God in the flesh. And also Paul said “ in my flesh there is no good thing”. That’s depravity. Not in the Calvinist sense, but in the Biblical sense.
