if salvation is assured in eternity past how does this differ with Calvinism ?
It may in many ways.
He may believe in conditional election, resistance grace, that Christ died for all, to name three.

impossible. Those animals sacrifices were provided to forgive the Jews of their sins. Their sins, however, were not washed away. They were in remission.
You would know if you would set your anti calvin bias.if salvation is assured in eternity past how does this differ with Calvinism ?
Amen, the hidden mystery as paul calls it. They didn’t know hw god would save them just that he wouldDidn’t say they were. But God was covering sins based on what Christ would do just as He covered our sin s based on what Christ has done.
Like eternal said. From Gods perspective not man’s.
1 Peter 1:1-2Exodus 19:3-6 provides the understanding. The nation of Israel was elected to be God’s holy nation, as peter further elaborate in 1 peter 2.
Hence the elect according to peter, refers to the Jews and not gentiles.
Compare scripture with scripture is the best way. Genesis to Revelation.
I laughed out loud...twice.
Didn’t say they were. But God was covering sins based on what Christ would do just as He covered our sin s based on what Christ has done.

I believe Jesus died for all without exception . But not the other two points you said .It may in many ways.
He may believe in conditional election, resistance grace, that Christ died for all, to name three.
impossible.
the blood of bulls and goats could never take away sin.
if they took away sin, then every Jew would be saved. Whether they believed or not
I'm going on what you said you believe.Actually I do not agree with everything my church says I have yet to find a perfect church. But that does not excuse us of falsely accusing others because we think they believe something based on what church they go to
Remission v redemptionimpossible.

In this case, every Jew at any time where the atoning sacrifice was made is saved.I could list dozens more...
Leviticus 4:5 And he shall do with the bullock as he did with the bullock for a sin offering, so shall he do with this: and the priest shall make an atonement for them, and it shall be forgiven them.
Sins were forgiven but not washed.
ThankyouI like how some state they are taking the moral high road (generally speaking on this forum) but still find a way to get their digs in..
I think @throughfaith shares some good insight.
And trying to add a calvinist flare to it, which means you may hear the words, but you have no understanding of what was saidI'm going on what you said you believe.

Whether they believe god or not
the sacrifices were a symbol, of the only thing which could save.
Ok you've made your point, no need to keep harping on about it .And trying to add a calvinist flare to it, which means you may hear the words, but you have no understanding of what was said
Sins were remitted . They needed redeeming. They needed washing away .Both are only found in Christ
I see your sister is backing you up, then again you are just like her, that’s why she is on ignore, she does not know how to have a normal conversation either without attacking people from a tainted point of view.Thankyouwe can all learn off each other.
