I thought the debate was a total fiasco.
Trump did not appear at all presidential. He needs to stop praising himself but simply state what he believes his accomplishments are and let the voter decide if they are praiseworthy or not. Another thing, he needs to stop tweeting as it makes him seem petty and conceited. Other then saying that he is working on lowering prescription drugs (praise worthy) he really didn't touch at all what he hopes to accomplish should he win a second term. Biden, while coherent, did not really say much on what he hopes to accomplish should he win the election besides the litany of whacky Green New Deal nonsense that is impractical, prohibitively expensive, and, other than the radical left, nobody wants.
I would grade Biden's performance a C- and Trump, a D. I don't think that the needle will move in the polls in a positive direction as a result of Trump's performance. On the other hand, Biden probably didn't hurt his chances, but then again, he is ahead in most polls by a significant margin.
The debate was disappointing and a wasted opportunity to connect with the undecided voters by both candidates.
