I didn't see this topic but I could have been looking in the wrong place. Please forgive me if I missed something similar.

I'm lacking in Christian friends for these types of discussions. I am currently going through the ringer and out of techniques to get through this overwhelming battle. That said...

During your life what do you think is the most difficult battle you've faced? How has the enemy come after you and how did you make it past?

For me I have been under very heavy spiritual attacks these past few months more than I have ever had to deal with. I have a lot of doubts and low views of myself and I am always worried about my sins how easy it is for me to fall into sin I am weak at temptation and the enemy loves to pounce on this I have spent many nights in tears and fearing it even became so bad I couldn't think straight anymore.
I was exhausted mentally spiritually and it even began affecting my body however the way I counter it is simply to throw my hands up and trust in God, a common and seemingly simple thing to say and do but in such battles it is not that easy at all, so I spent as much time with God as I could any way I could
I also did however have a very special friend lafftur to encourage me and help me and eventually I became sick and tired of the enemy attacking me and in my rage commanded him to back off telling him I am who father says I am

I was never good at spiritual battle type prayers but this time thwere was actual authority in it now the attacks are gone but only for a time he will be back this is how spiritual warfare works but if your being attacked then that must mean your doing something right

I concur with Blain, I myself have been under spiritual attacks and still Am. It’s not easy, in fact it’s the hardest and most terrifying 3 months I’ve ever been through since the passing of my own dad. I have also been under “spiritual Depression” and yes it’s an actual thing. It’s also in the youversion bible app if you Have that.

Like Brother @Blain has said, it you’re going through the trenches and it seems like it’s never endin... its a GOOD thing. God will NEVER give You More than you can handle, just pray.. and pray.. and scream out to Jesus.. and I promise you, you will find peace. No, I’m not saying it will happen overnight, cause life is never that simple, BUT.. it’s all in God‘s timing that things will start to change when you least expect it.

I think the attacks are getting much worse and the enemy has upped his game because of how little time is left to do so, personally while I hoped for and looked for it I never really thought the rapture was close until this year I just feel it in my spirit which is a first for me

We are entering into a time when the world will be shaken and turned upside down I am excited to finally be able to hold my Lord in my arms but I also mourn because I know what will happen to the rest of the world but yes I have been going through the exact same thing you have in the last three months and this is when we need to draw close to him more than ever

Life REALLY sucks right now, but we must push through and focus on how much God loves us and is WITH us. Harder to understand I know, but it’s true, once I realized what I was doing wrong I changed my prayers to being thankful vs asking for stuff. I feel much more connected doing that than asking for stuff. Prayer works.. period. I think both me and Blain are proof of that.

What’s strange for me is My taste in music Has changed in a weird way. I’m not complaining and neither is my hubs... but it’s still christian music, just not what I usually listen to. So just thought I’d share that as well.

I don't think i have had a most difficult battle as they all are most difficults. The hardest part is always being able to accept Gods
plan for whatever the issue is, and live to it. For me what i have learned over time was not to look for escaping it, but rather go through it but watch God will do while accepting the fact that He exists to defy the logic of whatever nonsense im going through.

I remember about a year ago i had to get a new drivers license but i was afraid of going because i didn't want to take an eye exam.
My indoor vision sucks, i can't read words or letters very well while inside, so i knew if i had to take that i would fail and not get my new license. The night before going to the DMV for my test i prayed. I spent a lot of time agreeing and affirming that when i go there I WILL GET MY NEW LICENSE because it is His will. I believed that this place, this circumstance existed just so He can defy it like that. When i was in line waiting i kept agreeing and affirming in my mind and reasoning with myself that," this is what i am here for". When i finally got in i had to fill out a bunch of paperwork and all that. I look to my left and right and notice a guy taking his eye exam with the chart thing way up over head. Looking at all of the booths mine included i see they all have them overhead. Seeing them i know for a fact that there is no way in hell i would be able to read mine, it was too far away. I still kept affirming and agreeing that im still going to get my drivers license regardless of the images im being shown that say otherwise. Finally after the booth lady finishes up and stamps all of my paperwork she calls me over to a side of the room i didn't notice before. On that side of the room they had an eye exam chart ridiculously close to the counter and the letters are way bigger, and big enough for me to recite the lines of them to the her. That side of the room was right next to the camera too so then she said go stand in front of the camera and poof! New licence time... I was so happy i pretty much glided out of the DMV, didn't even care that i came out looking like a surprised weasel in my new picture lol.

That is just 1 of probably hundreds of testimony's, but i always have to stay in agreement even if everything says something else.
Key is to stay physically responding to the faith even if the mind doesn't agree. I could have walked off the moment i saw
people taking their eye exams but i chose to walk it out 100% instead and the enemy lost that fight.

Whenever I am going through hard times I always say to God I trust you even if things are bad, but I think what your talking about is testing of faith

Dunno what im doing or what its called im just living By faith according to James 2:14-26
and Hebrews 11:1 "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."

If this is true my mindset is like " I am seen but reacting to a truth i cannot see but have realized, Let me be that evidence." So when im having faith in God for something i have to walk up to circumstances defiant and from out of God's purpose expecting to see Him do something, rather than trying to run away after being a subject to them.

It's not always easy though but im learning.

Yes that is exercising faith exactly like moses he also was defiant but walked into situations expecting God to do something this is exactly what faith is seeing the situation but going into it with faith.
