I suggest you hit the books and find out!Again aside from a universalist ,who is saying all sinners will be saved?

Sure it is....it is the. Biblical teaching, pure and simple.I know what Calvinism teaches . The clue is ' calvinism' . it's not the bible is it ?
Where did I say anything about either?Predestined for what? Elected for what?
We go to the book of Acts to see what the Apostles preached. Why would we go to the book of Acts ? Just asking ?
2 cor 5 .19
To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling THE WORLD unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
Who isn't a sinner ? That would be everyone.
I see you simply read that verse( 2 cor 5.19 ) and that was your conclusion. Thats what reading the Bible without a system dictating does . What else is the verse saying ? 18And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; We go to the book of Acts to see what the Apostles preached.
Notice what I said was true.
Are you suggesting God is not going to hold the trespasses of the unsaved against them at the white throne judgment?
There s only 66 books we need ultimately.I suggest you hit the books and find out!
My question to you is:
Are you going to (or able to) put a new heart and a new Spirit in yourself by yourself of yourself, whereby and wherewith you should repent and be given the faith to believe?
OK. Thank you and have a blessed evening.I do not answer straw man fallacy .. you do know what that is correct?
So now people can repent or no...or are only the chosen given repentance?
Sure it is....it is the. Biblical teaching, pure and simple.
Jesus taught it, Calvinists believe it.
May need to back track . Sometimes I'm replying to the wrong person. Sorry .Where did I say anything about either?![]()
Thank you. It is by default one group is chosen for damnation if one group is chosen for salvation. There is only double predestination... one group is chosen and dragged to redemption the other is not.
It is the most complex theology I have ever come across, which is why they need to have professionals explaining it to their laymen, who then parrot these arguments to us.Calvinism is hardly simple.
Well maybe simply wrong.
Okie dokie. I simply posted a panel... this oneMay need to back track . Sometimes I'm replying to the wrong person. Sorry .
And NOAH had a CHOICE to make....to build or not to build.....
No matter how these clowns try to get around free will and choice, the bible DRIPS WITH IT FROM FRONT TO BACK.....
EVEN THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD had to disrob his glory, take flesh, be tempted, tried, tested and CHOOSE!
Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good.
Actually you could say more accurately that one group is CHOSEN for salvation and the other group is ABANDONED to damnation. Not CHOSEN to damnation. Why? Because they don't want to be saved. Because they love their sin. Because they resist the Holy Spirit. Because they commit the unpardonable sin. Maybe lots of similar things.Thank you. It is by default one group is chosen for damnation if one group is chosen for salvation.
All word games in the world wont change that. Calvinists are something else to deal with, so cold. So cold.
"they were chosen.. they did nothing.....the Holy Spirit just came upon them"I am so tired of reading how they were chosen.. they did nothing.....the Holy Spirit just came upon them .. did not even know the bible.. etc.,, etc.,
Yet they do everything and anything to complicate and obfuscate everything you stated above.
How can God hold the trespasses of the unsaved when He has already reconciled them ? Does the Holy Spirit reprove them for anything other than 'not Believing in Jesus . The very thing Calvinism stupidly teaches they are unable to do ?We go to the book of Acts to see what the Apostles preached.
Notice what I said was true.
Are you suggesting God is not going to hold the trespasses of the unsaved against them at the white throne judgment?
Chosen for what ?"they were chosen.. they did nothing.....the Holy Spirit just came upon them"
That's quite an admission. Well spoken.
Sounds like a merciful act of grace by God Himself, no more no less.
Is it not the Calvinist view that some were created/predestined for damnation?Actually you could say more accurately that one group is CHOSEN for salvation and the other group is ABANDONED to damnation. Not CHOSEN to damnation. Why? Because they don't want to be saved. Because they love their sin. Because they resist the Holy Spirit. Because they commit the unpardonable sin. Maybe lots of similar things.
That is just some off-the-cuff commentary. Not meant to be doctrine. Nothing more than a reaction to what you have stated. Whether it makes sense or not, or is scriptural or not, I leave up to you.
